"I thought you couldn't handle it," Natasha said as she wiped her mouth with satisfaction after finishing the meal.
She had ordered more food, and the five of them were now full, their stomachs round from the indulgence.
As they left the restaurant, they spotted Julian holding a bag of grilled sausages and some fried cheese curds in one hand while happily munching on grilled flatbread topped with onions and cilantro.
Zachary cleared his throat, reminding him. Julian quickly swallowed and was about to toss the rest of his food into the trash. He didn't have the nerve to bring grilled flatbread into Zachary's Maybach.
"Don't throw it away yet. Mr. Foster, I'm sure you're not in a rush to go back, right?"
Natasha instinctively thought it would be a waste to throw it away, and her question just hit the right spot.
"I'm not in a hurry," Zachary replied.
Upon hearing this, Julian's face broke into a wide grin again. "Then I'll wait for you guys to return."
Seeing this, Liana and Owen decided not to stick around. Still staying in the university dorms, Xavier had to leave before curfew.
"Next time, I'll treat you all properly," Xavier said with a playful grin, jumping on his motorcycle and zipping away.
"Since you're not in a rush, how about we take a stroll around here?" Natasha suggested. Standing in the cold wind all the time wasn't comfortable, and she needed to find something to talk about.
So, Natasha led him through the nearby shopping district. "Actually, the entertainment options here are pretty saturated already. Opening another mall doesn't seem necessary," she said thoughtfully.
As much as she considered these issues, Zachary had likely already thought of them as well.
"I feel like I'm showing off in front of a business mogul like you."
Natasha couldn't help but laugh at her own words as she turned to look at Zachary. That was close. If she had turned around earlier, she might have caught him staring at her.
