Dumping Him for His Uncle (Natasha and Zachary) novel Chapter 60

"Okay, I'll help you. But in exchange, can you at least give me a clue?" Natasha said.

She was anxious to find out who had saved her back then. It meant a lot to her.

"Once everything is settled, I'll tell you. After all, I've already given you my weakness, and you can choose not to trust me," Faye replied calmly.

With that, she left her business card on the counter and walked out of the bar.

What she said wasn't wrong. Still, the feeling of being manipulated left a sour taste in Natasha's mouth.

Frustrated, she ordered another bottle of whiskey and sat at the counter, watching the stage performances with a hazy look in her eyes.

"When did my tolerance get so bad?" she muttered, shaking her head.

Luckily, she could still see clearly enough.

After paying the bill, she stepped outside to wait for a cab.

The cold night air hit her face, clearing her head a little.

From the corner of the alley, she heard laughter and playful voices.

Usually, Natasha wasn't the type to snoop, but the alcohol gave her courage she didn't know she had.

She wandered over and peeked around the corner. There he was, standing in close proximity to a woman she didn't recognize.

The woman was laughing, playfully slapping his chest, and Zachary wasn't pulling away.

Seeing this, Natasha couldn't help but scoff. Zachary and the woman were both drawn to the sound.

This was how men always were. If they couldn't get close to you, they certainly wouldn't turn down other women.

After pulling her gaze away, Natasha gently leaned against the wall, feeling the night breeze brush against her cheek.

It was so relaxing, but at that moment, she just wanted to go home.

"What are you doing here?" Zachary suddenly appeared at her side.
