Dumping Him for His Uncle (Natasha and Zachary) novel Chapter 68

Mr. Foster, you don't need to worry. If there was something between them, they'd have already hooked up."

Julian had never been in a relationship himself, but based on his analysis, it seemed more like a one-sided crush on Xavier's part.

"Never underestimate a rival," a voice chimed in before the door even opened.

Nigel strode in without knocking on the door, tossing his sunglasses aside, and fixing Zachary with a serious look.

Despite Nigel's constant nagging these past few days, Zachary hadn't made a single move.

Previously, Natasha had kicked him out of her house and taught him a lesson. Nigel's "aggressive attack" strategy definitely wasn't going to work on her.

Nigel continued dramatically, "After some digging, I found out that Ms. Bradley is not just smart and beautiful. She also has her own perspectives and ambitions—qualities that are truly rare."

She wasn't Nigel's type. He'd never chased after someone like her before.

Still, no matter how cold or unattainable someone seemed, everyone had moments of impulsiveness and desire.

"Enough. Get out," Zachary said without hesitation, pointing to the door.

Nigel opened his mouth to argue but was shoved out by Julian before he could get another word in.

Julian added, turning back to Zachary, "And one more thing, I heard that Ms. Bradley is planning to return to the medical field. But with a three-year gap in her resume, it's unlikely anyone will want to employ her."

He'd picked up the intel while trailing Xavier.

"I got it. You can leave now," Zachary said.

He stared at his computer screen, his eyes fixed on a slightly blurry photo. The quality was poor, but it clearly showed two people standing side by side, smiling brightly.

Standing at his office on the top floor of Foster Tower, Zachary looked out through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The buildings below looked like nothing more than toys. He had reached a point where he could get anything he wanted in the world.

Yet, if he had to give it all up for Natasha, he wouldn't hesitate for a second.

That night, Zachary's phone lit up again and again, buzzing on the table.
