Once home, I made myself some instant noodles.] 

As I ate, I scrolled through my phone and stumbled upon a live stream of Xavier’s exhibition. 

The exhibition had ended, and they were now auctioning off the paintings. 

As the prices climbed higher, each painting was quickly sold for a hefty sum. 

I couldn’t help but marvel at how popular this jerk’s paintings were. 

The atmosphere was lively, with many female fans holding banners to cheer him on. 

Just as I was about to scroll past, Xavier carefully carried a painting onto the stage. 

The painting was of me, looking elegant and graceful, almost lifelike.[] 

The moment it was revealed, the audience was stunned. Even I, who didn’t know much about art, could tell it was a masterpiece. 

The auctioneer invited Xavier to share the story behind the painting. 

“Mr. Gomez, the woman in this painting must have a special story with you. Would you tell us about it?”

“The woman in this painting is my girlfriend, Ariella. I’ve never painted her before, nor have I publicly acknowledged our relationship…” 

His words caused a stir in the crowd. 

After all, Xavier had always claimed to be single, a lonely and aloof artist. 

Though he never hid his closeness with Chloe, he never officially confirmed their relationship. 

Fans and the public had always assumed Chloe was his girlfriend.[] 

But now, Xavier publicly announced that his girlfriend was someone else. Naturally, fans reacted strongly. 

Ignoring the murmurs and questions from the audience, Xavier continued calmly. 

“I want to use this painting to tell my girlfriend that, although I may have wronged her in the past, my heart has always belonged to her.“] 

“Please forgive me. Come back to me. The title of this painting is ‘True Love,‘ and it’s the best way I can express my feelings for you.” 

I had to admit, Xavier was a master at playing the part.[] 

His words quickly calmed the once–angry fans, and many even began to feel moved by his sincerity.
