“Lucy, don’t deny yourself. You deserve the best,” Joycelyn said. Hopping her from downing her drink, her clear eyes full of sincerity. 

Lucy’s hand paused, and she smiled gently, teasing. “You’re pretty, so I’ll listen to you this time.” 

“Cheers, no matter what, as long as we love ourselves, we can overcome anything,” Joycelyn said, raising her glass to clink with hers.

Joycelyn also smiled and took a sip of her juice. 

“Let’s eat. How long are you staying in Virelia?” Joycelyn asked, picking up her fork and eating as she spoke.

Being in a foreign country made her a bit worried. 

They both knew without saying that “he” referred to Ellison. 

When the plane landed, Joycelyn and Lucy got off the plane and waited by the side.

Luckily, the wind at the airport was loud, and there was no one else around.

Joycelyn agreed after hearing that. 

It seemed they got off the plane too early. 

William helped her with her luggage.
