“Oh, I see.” Joycelyn nodded. She tugged at the strap of her backpack and answered absent–mindedly. 

Seeing that her eyes were filled with worry, Aurelia pulled her closer. She asked, “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell, or are you worried about what happened today?” 

There were other colleagues in the elevator. Their discussion was not loud, and Joycelyn only nodded. 

“We might have to have a meeting in the afternoon. The company will handle it. The impact won’t be as big as it seems.” Aurelia patted Joycelyn’s shoulder as she assured her.
