“Then don’t tell Grandma later. Don’t let her know,” Joycelyn said softly, her voice full of concern 

Some were wonied about Ellison, while others were concerned that Isolde wouldn’t be able to accept the situation.

Ellison, ever the gentleman, pulled out a chair for Joycelyn. 

She sat down, trying to lighten the mood with a more lively demeanor today. She began discussing the wedding guest list and arrangements with Isolde 

“Ellison only has those two childhood friends. How many friends are you inviting? Isolde asked kindly. 

“I should just invite one good friend, Joycelyn replied, planning to invite Lucy. 

“Alright, then I’ll invite some of my own friends, said Isolde, who was already discussing the arrangements with Luna as she

The situation seemed to not bother her at all. 

Unfortunately, the news on TV was covering the Grant Group’s situation. Joycelyn took the opportunity to grab her water glass and turned off the television.

She teased Joycelyn and then glanced at her grandson. 

“Grandma, stop teasing me. He won’t even let me go back to school anymore, Joycelyn said with a helpless smile. 

Speaking of which, she hadn’t had time to ask Lucy if that so–called campus heartthrob was a scammer.

As she chatted with Lucy, she was suddenly added to a group char 

The person who added her was Sean, who shared two food pictures from the Space Garden Restaurant.

The group was immediately flooded with question marks.

This was the first time she’d seen someone so clueless, sending bulk messages s to all the girls he’d been hitting on, and
