Chapter 46
When Ellison heard the words “my period,” he paused, his breath thickening. In a hoarse voice, he asked.
The tone was tinged with restraint, but also with a hint of something deeper, more charged.
“Yeah, I only took a shower after it started,” Joycelyn replied, poking him lightly on the shoulder with her finger. “So maybe
next time.”
Ellison closed his eyes, trying to steady himself.
Joycelyn held her breath, not daring to disturb him.
She could tell he was struggling, but there was something almost playful about it too, like he was silently frustrated, yet
amused.
Im going to bed now. You….” Joycelyn started, but he placed a hand on her lower back, absentmindedly caressing her.
Joycelyn bit her lip, a soft moan escaping her as her feet curled uneasily beneath her.
“Don’t touch me, I’m ticklish,” she said, trying to pull away, feeling embarrassed with the large glass windows making it hard to find privacy
Ellison knew she was sensitive, but his own body was burning with desire. He could tell from the way she was acting. She looked so innocent, but her eyes betrayed a mischievous glint. It made him want her more.
“As long as you’re in my arms, we can’t kiss properly, so this is better,” he murmured, his arm leaning over her, his body looming closer.
Joycelyn looked up at him, her smile wide, feeling confident at first. But as he closed the distance, she couldn’t help but notice the heat in his gaze. It was filled with a longing she couldn’t ignore.
She swallowed nervously, her small hands gripping tightly as she realized Ellison was serious
“Umm, you should go shower,” she said, trying to change the subject as the tension in the room built.
She felt embarrassed with the space so open around them.
“It’s just the two of us here. Why are you worried?” Ellison said, his voice low and coaxing, as he inched even closer.
“I know, but… I really am on my period,” she said, her face flushed with embarrassment as she pulled back slightly. Ellison raised his hand and gently traced her soft, red lips with his thumb.
The air between them thickened instantly.
“I know,” he said quietly. “Then let’s do something else.”
Joycelyn looked up at him, confused. “Something else?”
His fingers traced her lips again, and her body tensed with sensitivity. Her heart was racing, and she couldn’t help but freeze, locking eyes with him.
“Are you nervous?” Ellison asked, a grin tugging at the corner of his mouth.

Chapter 46.
Joycelyn shook her head, but her eyes betrayed her.
She felt paralyzed, unable to speak, her lips sealed by the way he looked at her.
Ellison leaned in and pressed his thumbs on her lips again, his gaze locking onto hers with an intensity that left her
breathless.
He kissed her gently at first, but then it deepened, becoming demanding.
Her lips tingled with his touch, her mind overwhelmed by the sensation, and her body arched against him.
She tried to pull away, but he wouldn’t let her, pinning her against the couch. His large hand gripped her waist rightly. pulling her closer as if he couldn’t get enough of her.
She felt like she was losing herself in him. Her mouth was sore from his kisses, and her head spun
“Are you going to kiss me to the point where I can’t feel anything?” Joycelyn murmured, her hands on her face, trying to steady herself.
Ellison sat back, adjusting her clothes as he turned to her with a teasing smile. “Didn’t you enjoy that? Now you’re turning cold on me.”
Enjoy? Joycelyn thought, her mind still reeling from the intensity of the kiss.
Joycelyn flushed at his words. She tried to change the subject, looking him up and down
“Mr. Grant, how do you manage to be so serious while driving? I need to learn how to stay calm too, Joycelyn said.
She was indirectly teasing him about his more playful side.
Ellison simply smiled, not denying or confirming her statement, adjusting his sleeve with casual confidence.
He raised an eyebrow at her, his smile radiating quiet charm. “You still don’t understand men.”
51%.
He then ran his hand through her hair, leaning in closer, his voice full of a deeper promise. “But it’s Okay. You’ll learn what really means to be with a man.”
Joycelyn puffed her cheeks out in mild frustration, trying to regain composure, her gaze wandering as she avoided looking directly at him.
“I’m feeling a little unwell. I think I’ll go to bed,” she said, trying to act nonchalant, holding her pajamas close Ellison withdrew his hand, watching as Joycelyn hurriedly fled, his usual stoic expression returning.
to her body.
This little thing looked so calm and composed, yet when it came to teasing, she was like a naive little creature–quite amusing
Ellison smirked slightly, taking a few steps to catch up with Joycelyn.
“Why are you looking down while walking? Afraid you’ll bump into something? What’s the rush, feeling shy?” Ellison asked.
“No…” Joycelyn glanced around nervously, clearly worried about being overheard.
“Not shy, yet you’re walking so fast.”
Although Joycelyn’s steps were quick, she couldn’t pull ahead.

Chapter 16
Every two steps she took, Ellison only needed one to keep up.
With his hands behind his back, Ellison lowered his head and walked alongside her toward the elevator.
“Why the hurry? I’m not going to bite you” He pressed the elevator button casually.
