Tristan reached out to grab Joycelyn’s arm. 

In the dim light, he gazed at her fair skin and graceful figure. He stretched his hand, intending to touch her. 

Just as he leaned in, reaching out, Joycelyn’s eyes shot open. Her clear, icy gaze sent a cold chill through the air. 

Tristan froze, taken aback by the intense energy in her eyes. 

Without warning, Joycelyn quickly raised her leg and delivered a powerful kick to his most vulnerable spot, landing a decisive blow.

Joycelyn glared at Cedric with a fiery intensity.

The pain was excruciating as Joycelyn bit down hard on the tip of her tongue, the sharp sensation jolting her into partial

“Joycelyn, I’ve had my eye on you for a long time. I was going to wait until you graduated and then make you marry me, but your father wouldn’t allow it. All he cares about is turning you into a money machine. But it’s fine, you’ll be mine sooner or later.” 

Joycelyn let out a muffled sob, struggling to speak. 

Cedric casually reached out and slapped her face, leering, “Hold on, don’t speak out. If you do, I’ll make sure you can’t scream.” 

Joycelyn turned her head to avoid his filthy hand, her breath coming in heavy gasps, every part of her body rejecting him. 

Cedric wasn’t angry, instead, he turned to Tristan and urged, “Hurry up, finish up so we can get paid.” 

Tristan’s eyes were glued to Joycelyn as he fumbled with the equipment, unable to get the stand right. 

Frustrated, Cedric stepped over to assist, setting up the phone and starting the recording. 

As he turned back toward her, Joycelyn’s body twisted and thrashed, trying to retreat, but the bed was too small. 

No matter how far she crawled into the corner, Cedric easily caught her by the ankle and dragged her back.
