Chapter 113
Elaina finally managed to get rid of Nitzan. She was just about to find a corner where no one else was around to rest, but Jalen walked up to her.
“I’m sorry. Grandpa.”
“Do you think I was joking when I said that I treat him as my grandfather?” Elaina stopped and turned around to look at Jalen.
Jalen was stunned. He heard her continue, “Since he’s really like my grandfather, I won’t mind
what he says to me.”
“I thought too much.” Jalen felt helpless. It seemed that he was always at a disadvantage when he
was with Elaina.
As if knowing what he was thinking, Elaina raised the corner of her mouth and said indifferently, “Although I just said in front of your grandfather that you aren’t different from others to me, I still
have to make one thing clear.”
“What?”
“Getting back together is never my thing,” she said.
After that, she turned and left. She didn’t care whether Jalen was angry or had some other feelings.
In fact, Jalen was not angry. He was just a little sad. He knew that what Elaina said in front of Nitzan
was not true.
It was all his fault. He couldn’t blame anyone else.
As soon as Elaina sat down, Saul came over and asked in a low voice, “Does Nitzan want you to
remarry Jalen?”
“Yes.” Elaina did not deny it. It was obvious. It was not strange that Saul could see it.
“What do you think? Don’t tell me you really want to remarry him.” In that case, it would be boring.
Elaina glanced at him and saw through his thoughts. “Whether I remarry him or not is not a
bargaining chip for you to fight with him.”
“I understand. I was just worried about you,” Saul said with a smile.
“Oh?” That sounded strange.
“Jalen did not cherish you before. Who can guarantee that he will cherish you in the future? Look at how many women are watching him at the banquet. If you marry him again, you will have to deal with endless mistresses,” Saul said seriously.
Elaina had to admit that what Saul said was similar to what she thought.
Being alone was such a free thing. Why should she bring herself trouble?
I just said a few words. And you are willing to avenge me. You are such an idiot.
