Chapter 29
“So what if I go against you? Do you think I’m afraid of your family?” Saul’s aura instantly changed. In the
blink of an eye, Saul seemed to have become a horrifying killer.
Elaina turned to look at Saul. This man was a little interesting.
Saul looked frivolous, but when he got serious, he would become a different person.
While the two of them were in a deadlock, Jalen and Quincy came down from the second floor. When they saw Saul, they were both shocked.
“Hey, you’re late. Your girl was saved by another hero.” Quincy gloated and deliberately teased Jalen.
Jalen’s face was gloomy, and his gaze was unkind. “Will Saul be so kind?”
“That’s true. Who knows? He might have some bad tricks up his sleeve.” Quincy nodded and said, “It’s a pity that Dr. Gainsford doesn’t know. She might be tricked.”
Jalen did not say anything. He did not go over and just watched from afar.
“Jalen.”
Marie walked toward Jalen the moment she saw him. Without Jalen, Marie seemed like an outsider at this banquet.
Jalen nodded but ignored Marie. Instead, he continued to look at Elaina.
“Saul!”
Seeing that Saul really wanted to go against him, Marcus was furious and said maliciously, “Do you also like
her?”
Saul was silent. After a while, he said impatiently, “If you want to fight, hurry up. Don’t waste my time.”
“You!” Marcus was furious.
Saul was not afraid of Marcus and just looked at him coldly.
Just as Marcus was about to ask his buddies to attack Saul, an old man appeared in time and stopped
Marcus. He whispered in Marcus’ ear, “Mr. Lory, we shouldn’t offend the Judson family.”
“But…” Marcus could not swallow this.
“There will be many opportunities in the future,” the old man spoke again, but his tone was unquestionable.
