The man disguised as a police officer was indeed Craig, 

When Craig arrived at the scene, he was going from car to car, searching for Quicksilver. 

Just moments ago, Craig felt a strong murderous intent and instinctively pulled Quicksilver out of the car in a rush. 

Quicksilver let out a long breath and wiped the cold sweat off his forehead. “Thanks“. 

Craig nodded, then sensed someone watching him. He looked up and noticed a man in a thick black coat, standing a few cars away, staring at him. 

It was Luke, and there was a questioning look in his eyes. 

Craig nodded, signaling that he had found Quicksilver. 

Luke also breathed a sigh of relief. 

After receiving Lea’s message, they had rushed here at breakneck speed. Luke had considered disguising himself as a cop. but there hadn’t been time for him to do so. 

Fortunately, Craig had arrived first and saved Quicksilver.

Luke gave Craig a nod of acknowledgment, then quickly turned and disappeared into the flow of people on the chaotic highway, the site of a major accident. 

He had sensed the presence of those men and was now going after them.

In the Mercedes–Benz parked at the highway entrance, Alfred’s phone rang. It was Craig calling. Alfred gave Lea a reassuring look, his expression visibly more relaxed as he answered the call 

“Mr. Andrews, I’ve found him. Should I bring him back, or… Craig asked. 

Given the situation, it was crucial to ensure Quicksilver’s safety first. 

Alfred turned to Lea, seeking her input. 

“Bring him here,” Lea instructed. 

Alfred relayed her words into the phone. 

“Understood, Craig responded. 

About five minutes later, a police officer on a motorcycle arrived at the highway entrance, escorting someone to the side of the Mercedes–Benz. 

Lea pushed open the car door, and a young man, around twenty–three or twenty–four, appeared. 

He was dressed in a black and blue checkered pajama shirt and stood over six feet tall with a slim build, slightly curly hair, thick black–framed glasses, and sharp, delicate features that radiated intelligence. 

He was exactly the kind of hacker detective she had imagined. 

When Quicksilver saw her, his pupils widened, and his eyes filled with amazement. 

He had seen her photos countless times before, but in person, her face was smaller, her features even more refined, and her aura was both commanding and stunning. 

The young woman who had won his respect online with her abilities and decisiveness was now standing right in front of him. He was utterly captivated. 

“Get in,” Lea said. 

Obediently, Quicksilver opened the rear door and got inside. 

As the door closed, Craig, having already dealt with the car owners, cleared the road. 

Alfred started the car, turning the wheel to maneuver away from the scene, and took a detour. “Head to the base,” Lea instructed. 

Half an hour later, the car arrived in front of the mixed–use skyscraper that housed their base. 

The building was called Silvertower, standing fifty stories tall, making it one of the tallest in the area. The lower levels hosted restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues, while the middle floors contained hotels, followed by numerous tech companies above. 

The top floor comprised residential apartments. 

The building had a complex ecosystem, populated by office workers, mid–level business owners, and, of course, secret
