His Secret Heir His Deepest Regret novel Chapter 59

Chapter 59: I Want Andy

JULIA

Andy was still trembling in my arms

The news didn’t come as a surprise for me. Of course, I was telling the truth. Why would I deliberately go through this if Andy wasn’t Evan’s son

Garyn looked overjoyed, while Evan appeared relieved

My focus was on Andy, though, who cried harder in my arms

I rubbed his back in slow circles, whispering softly to him, It’s okay, bub. I’m here. I’ve got you.”

But his tears didn’t stop, and every quiet hiccup he made chipped away at my already fragile heart

Garyn stood nearby, observing the scene with an expression I could only describe as disapproving

He shouldn’t cry,Garyn said with all seriousness. Crying is a sign of weakness. And he’s no ordinary boy now

-he’s an heir. Our heir.”

I glared at him, feeling my hate for him increase even more Without thinking, I tightened my arms around Andy and gently covered his ears, shielding him from Garyn’s harsh words

Don’t you dare talk about him like that,I snapped

Garyn’s eyes narrowed, but before he could respond, Evan stepped in

Dad, that’s enough,he said You’re in the wrong here. You took our son without our permission.”

Garyn crossed his arms, not listening to Evan’s words

I’m not finished, Evan,he said. Then his gaze shifted to me. I need to speak with Julia. Alone.”

No,Evan immediately said, placing himself firmly between us. Whatever you have to say, you can say it in. front of me.”

But Garyn’s persistence was unyielding. This isn’t about you, Evan. It’s about herand the boy. Step aside.”

Evan clenched his fists. He turned to look at me, silently asking me to refuse

I took a deep breath, steadying myself as I looked between the two men. The room felt suffocating. Just when I thought everything was getting better, there were actually lot more obstacles on our path

Finally, I massaged the bridge of my nose, feeling a headache forming

Fine,I muttered

Evan’s head snapped toward me. Julia, you don’t have to do this.”

I met his gaze, my lips pressed into a thin line. Who else will?I asked. You? Evan, you can’t even stand up to him, let alone have this conversation.”

Evan froze. He knew I was telling the truth. Then, he looked away, his shoulders slumping slightly

I placed Andy down and knelt so we could be at eye level

Andy,I said gently, brushing a strand of hair from his tearstreaked face. You’re going to go with Mister for a little while, okay? I’ll be back soon

Chapter 59: Want Andy

Andy hesitated, his little fingers clutching at my shirt. Will you come back?he asked, his voice trembling

I smiled. Of course I will, I promise.”

Reluctantly, he let go and reached for Evan, who immediately scooped him up. It surprised me how naturally Andy went to him with no hesitation or fear in his movements. He clung to Evan, burying his face in his shoulder

I stood, straightening iny spine as I looked at Evan. Watch him for me,I said

Evan nodded, his expression conflicted Juliahe began, but I cut him off

Don’t try to stop me,I said. Just take care of Andy.”

With that, I turned to Garyn, who was watching the exchange with a satisfied smirk. Let’s talk,I said

Garyn gestured toward the hallway, and I followed him in silence. We walked to a spacious doctor’s office. It seemed like he was really acquainted with the doctor who did the paternity procedure without my consent

Garyn closed the door behind us

Let’s get straight to the point,he said, his tone as cold as ever. I want Andy.”

I stared at him, unsure if I’d heard correctly. Excuse me?”

You heard me,Garyn said, his eyes boring into mine. Andy isn’t just any child. He’s my grandson, an Astor by blood. He belongs with us, not with you.”

Give him to us, and he will be taken care of by Heather and Evan. He will be their child since it seems like Heather isn’t ready to produce a child.”

My jaw clenched. Andy isn’t a piece of property you can claim,I snapped. The thought of Heather and Evan taking care of him without me in the picture was appalling

He’s a child. My child. You don’t get to decide what happens to him,I said with a glare

Garyn’s expression hardened. Do you really think you can give him the life he deserves? The opportunities, the connections, the legacy?”
