Invincible Heir novel Chapter 184

The dagger had almost reached Baron’s heart. The tip was touching his clothes.

The assassin was extremely fast, but Baron was faster. The fist that had blasted through the door slammed itself into the man’s chest.

Whud.

With a tremendous impact and the sound of shattering bone, the assassin flew backwards.

Baron’s form flashed and he appeared beside him.

Before the assassin could release a hint of noise, Baron’s foot had pressed down on his neck. The man’s pupils shrank, showing eyes full of fear.

He couldn’t understand how he’d remained silent, stayed hidden in the bedroom, and Baron had found him.

Baron get a close look at the man’s face. He was thirty or so years old, firm muscles up and down his body. From the viciousness with which he’d struck, his skill was evident.

Not only that, he must have killed plenty of people. Only someone like this could have struck like that with no hesitation, aiming straight for the killing blow.

If Baron hadn’t sensed his killing intent earlier, he might have been wounded.

“Talk. Who sent you?”

Baron asked coldly, his voice full of killing intent.

He applied a slight bit of force with his foot. The man instantly felt a metric ton of weight on his neck. Baron could snap his neck with a thought.

The fear of death whitened the face of the man on the ground.

“The McGill family sent me!”

The man said through his gritted teeth. Baron’s foot on his neck made his voice hoarse.

Baron narrowed his eyes. The McGill family again. Seems like he’d been too merciful for them and they even went after him repeatedly.

“I’m with the McGill family. You’d better release me, or the McGill family won’t let you go. There’s stronger people than me in the family, and…”

The man saw Baron’s face change and threatened him, thinking he was scared.

Crack.

Before he could finish, the foot on his neck increased pressure and the sound of breaking vertebrae rang out. The man died with his eyes open.

“This is the last time. If the McGill family still wants to make enemies of me, I’ll have to exterminate them!”

Baron did all that and said calmly as if nothing had happened.

He took out his phone and dialed a number. “There’s a body in my bedroom. Dump it in front of the Davis Manor and get my bedroom a new door while you’re at it. I’ll be home in two hours.”

“Got it!”

Came the reply.

Only two minutes had passed from Baron entering the house to now.

“Yuri’s still got some work she needs done. We can go there first, and she’ll be there when she’s done.”

Tracy said, looking at Baron as he got in the car.

“Sure!”

Baron nodded, driving off.

At the Davis Manor.

In a mansion, in front of a high-end wooden tea table, a white-haired elder in formal dress sat. He was Rory Dean, and to the side was Elias, the most gifted son of the Davis family.

“It’s all thanks to you, sir. Otherwise, I couldn’t have done this job for the head of the family. Here, I’ll toast you with tea!”

Elias said respectfully as he poured out some tea and gave the elder one cup, taking up a cup himself.

Rory chuckled. “It had to be done. No thanks necessary!”

With that, Rory took a sip of tea.

“Mr. Dean, you saw that video. That kid killed Bill with a fountain pen from several dozen meters away. How long do you think someone with his ability can last against Gilbert?”

Elias asked suddenly.

Despite Rory’s confidence, Elias was still worried, but he didn’t dare show it in front of the old man.

Rory scoffed. “Child’s play!”
