Tracy was unhappy when seeing Hardon was there.
But it was inappropriate for her to leave.
Also, the absence of Hardon wouldn’t affect her, as she came here to know some entrepreneurs across Kato.
Thinking of that, Tracy couldn’t deny the fact that Hardon was there.
“Tracy, I perceive your horrible hostility to me. Have I offended you?”
He spoke with some light smile, and it seemed that he was a gentleman.
Tracy glanced at him, “I don’t know you well. Please call Mrs. Owen. ‘Tracy’ alone isn’t okay for anyone, including you!”
A tinge of anger passed over him, the would-be heir of the top prosperous family across Kato. Any woman would just long to get closer to him.
Still, he was badly treated by a married woman.
Despite the dissatisfaction, he didn’t show any unhappiness.
Marry witnessed the scene and hurried to say, “To tell you the truth, it is Hardon who gives us invitation cards. Therefore, we should thank him.”
Tracy was slightly surprised and hesitated for a while. A familiar voice sounded behind Tracy while she was going to return them to him. “Honey!”
Baron came here and she was inwardly flurried, as if she was secretly meeting with other men and got exposed.
She was clever enough to sense that Marry strived to let Hardon be in a relationship with her. She was innocent, but Baron came across them.
“Sweetheart!”
Tracy’s words were filled with apology.
She wanted to explain it, but Marry beside her asked, “Tracy, why is he here? You call him here?”
“Tracy is my wife. If it is she who calls me here, anything wrong? Besides, as a stranger, you’d better mind your own business.”
Tracy was going to speak but Baron cut in. He would slam the woman but for Tracy.
“Shut up! You aren’t eligible to talk with me! Garbage!”
Marry rebuffed him and then said to Tracy, “Dear, do you know how Hardon got these invitation cards? Why should you call the garbage here? It is unreasonable.”
“Do you know the host party that will hold the antique exhibition? It is Henderson Antiques, supported by the Wilson family, prosperous and prestigious. Anyone that comes here is either rich or powerful. Do you feel ashamed to take a garbage here?”
“Zip your lips!”
Marry’s words hurt Tracy. She castigated and shouted, “Anyway, he is your brother-in-law. It is okay now that you dislike him.”
“Then we won’t go there!”
She turned around and held Baron’s arm, saying softly, “Honey, let’s go!”
Baron felt warmly satisfied.
He had already known why Tracy came here.
Baron was clear how crucial the Samho was to Tracy.
To protect himself, Tracy would sacrifice the chance to communicate with the entrepreneurs of Kato. Nor could she go to the antique exhibition.
Marry was dull, as she remembered that Tracy abhorred Baron. But her performance today was puzzling.
“Tracy, calm down! I won’t shout at him, okay? It is a great opportunity to gather around the most renowned entrepreneurs of Kato. You should attend it for your Samho!”
Marry hurried to hold Tracy’s arm and said in a cute tone.
Her purpose was to help Hardon get Tracy. If Tracy was gone, she couldn’t bear the responsibility.
“Tracy, it is indeed a hard-won opportunity. Go and see!”
Then Baron began to say.
Tracy agreed to attend, so did Baron. She kept silent for a while and went on, “Fine, if you say so. We will go and see.”
Marry was excited seeing Tracy’s promise.
Yet the Hardon near her was cunning.
The four people was stopped by a security guard when they reached the gate of the exhibition.
“Mr. Hardon, please show me your invitation card!”
