Baron clutched at Lucy’s wrist firmly. She began to shout in pain, “Ouch! Ouch! It hurts! Get your hand off me! If my husband arrives, you are so screwed!”

“You make me sick!” Baron said and smacked Lucy right across her face.

In an instant, deep red marks emerged on her face and a trace of blood flowed from the corner of her mouth.

Lots of bystanders were around there too. Everyone looked astonished and almost fearful. That guy before them showed no mercy, even to a woman.

However, they didn’t think that Baron was cruel. They knew Lucy too well. She was sort of a bully, and nobody took pity on her!

Baron stood up for Yuri, which made her feel very touched. But Sherry was drastically different from Yuri. She had no gratitude to the man who had saved them.

She took a step forward and slapped Baron hardly. “You stupid jerk! All you do is cause trouble. Do you know who that is? You are messed up! You will drag all of us into slime!”

With that said, Sherry ran and lifted Lucy to her feet. She apologized, “Lucy, I'm sorry I put you through it. But I have nothing to do with the jerk. You can do with him as you will. Please let me get away this time!”

Yuri was irritated by her words. Her voice shrilled with anger as she shouted at Sherry, “Mom! Why did you say this? He is your son-in-law, Tracy’s husband, Lara’s dad, and my brother-in-law! We are family! How could you draw the line?”

“Shut up!” Sherry snapped at Yuri.

Yuri bit her lips and held back tears. She was rather disappointed in her mom.

“Baron, are you okay?” Said Yuri, looking concerned.

Baron’s face went red due to the slap. He shook his head and smiled at her. “It's ok. I'm ok,” he replied.

Supported by Sherry, Lucy staggered to her feet. She took one short glance at Sherry, and then redirected her frigid stare to Baron. When she recognized Baron, she went very pale, and could not stop her body from trembling.

It never occurred to Lucy till now that Baron was the man who had kicked away her husband at the door of the Blue Sky Kindergarten! And not only that, his man had beaten all of her husband’s bodyguards.

“Who did it?” Said an angry voice behind them. And then Connor appeared, followed by a large group of strong men.

“Honey!” Screamed Lucy, and she threw herself into Connor's arms and cried.

“Sweetie, don't cry! Where is the asshole! I will kill him for you!” Connor said savagely.

Surrounded by a crowd of strong men, who looked savage and ruthless, Sherry was frightened out of her wits. She walked forward and said tremulously, “Mr. Johnson, I know who did it.”

Hearing the words, a flicker of annoyance crossed Baron’s face. Sherry was out of line.

“So, who did this? You coward son of bitch!” Connor roared.

Sherry raised her finger and pointed at Baron. “He did it. He slapped your wife! He is a jerk!”

Yuri was astounded to hear that, so did the people around them. The crowd had got the relationship between Baron and Sherry, so they all shot a disgusted look at Sherry.

And for Yuri, she had never expected or dreamed that her mother would treat Baron like that. She was sick of her ungratefulness.
