Chapter 30 

One day, Katerina passed by the dessert shop as usual, ordered a slice of cake, and sat down to enjoy it slowly. 

The taste was very familiar, almost as if her second brother had made it. Every time she came here, she had this strange feeling. 

But then she smiled to herself. How could that be? If Tony were here, the shop would surely be packed. 

After finishing her cake, she checked the time and headed to find Joshua. But as she left, a medical report was left behind on the table. 

It wasn’t until she was far away that Tony slowly emerged, picking up the report. His heart sank as 

he read the results. 

“She’s pregnant?” 

He bitterly smiled. He had once hoped that someday, he could wait until they broke up, and that she might forgive him. 

But now, it seemed there would be no such opportunity. 

Katerina was smiling as she made her way upstairs to find Joshua. She couldn’t help herself and wrapped her arms around him from behind, gleefully exclaiming: 

“Josh! We’re having a baby!” 

As soon as the words left her mouth, Joshua’s face lit up with happiness, and he tightly embraced her, planting a kiss on her forehead. 

“Kate, I love you.” 

The two of them held each other tightly, and at that moment, Tony, holding a trophy in the corner of the office, felt his heart sour. 

He had just come from the competition and had rushed back to tell her the good news that he had won the championship, only to receive this devastating blow instead. 

But hadn’t he already expected this?

He murmured to himself. 

After that day, when he reached the age limit, he retired from the club and began to take over the family business, rivaling Ethan. 

But he also restricted himself and Ethan from seeking out Katerina. 

There was nothing they could do. They could only give up.
