Love Has its Will by Selena Lewis novel Chapter 308

Chapter 308

When Savanna read the trending topic for the second time, it was quickly replaced by another entertainment gossip. The news about the only daughter of the Thompson family was no longer on the list.

It was obvious that someone had deliberately removed it.

Savanna followed the Thompson Group’s Twitter. Thompson’s post was normal. Recently, the announcements were all about the various projects that it invested in.

Savanna called Neil. “Did you get the public relations team to remove the trending topic?”

Neil was in the office checking the progress of the projects he was in charge of. When he saw that it was a call from Savanna, he immediately sat upright. Seeing Savanna mention a sensitive question, Neil didn’t focus on the work but answered Savanna seriously, “Ms. Thompson, it’s Mr. Young’s idea.”

Savanna said, “Alright, I understand.”

Neil was a little confused in his heart. I told Ms. Thompson about this. Is it proper?

Savanna ended the call with Neil and directly sent a video call to Brandon.

Just as the video call was about to hang up automatically, Brandon picked it up.

On the screen, Savanna did not see Brandon but a swaying ceiling. She knew that Brandon should be walking, and the camera on his phone was aimed at the ceiling above his head.

Savanna did not speak, her eyes fixed on the video. After some rustling, the camera turned. Brandon’s delicate facial features suddenly could be seen, and he did not look very well. His lips were pale, and he had dark circles. In Spiritual Mountain, because it was a solemn place, Savanna did not share a bed with Brandon. Just as they returned to New York, Brandon and Rex took her medicine to appraise it. Then, Brandon was asked away by Aldo.

As a result, Savanna had not checked. Brandon’s injury. Rex said that it was not serious, but Andrew had reminded her not to believe what her eyes saw but to feel with her heart.

Now, her intuition told her that Brandon was in a bad state, and she felt a little distressed.

“What are you doing?” Savanna forced a smile.

Brandon looked ahead as he walked. Occasionally, he would look down at Savanna. Perhaps because he was walking in a hurry and could not hold his phone properly, in the video, Savanna could only see his outlined lower jaw.

“Grandma is very seriously sick. Jim will come back immediately to get the prescription that Mr. Jones gave you. Is that okay?”

Brandon asked carefully.

As Aldo urgently looked for Brandon everywhere, Savanna knew that Lorena should be seriously ill and that Lorena would not be acting.

“Sure. I ate one pack, and there are nine more packs…”

Brandon interrupted her. “No, I won’t take yours. I’m asking Jim to come back and take Andrew’s prescription to go to the pharmacy to get medicine.”

Brandon’s gentle words and his concern made Savanna touched. She strongly felt that she was quite important in his heart.

In his heart, her life was more important than Lorena’s life.

Savanna knew clearly what Lorena meant to Brandon. In this world, other than Mandel, Lorena was the only relative of Brandon.

Thinking of this, Savanna felt sad, and her eyes gradually turned wet. She called out to him, “Brandon.”

Brandon stopped in his tracks and turned his phone in the right direction. His angular face immediately appeared in the video, and his eager voice sounded. “What’s wrong? Savanna, are you in pain again?”

Looking at Brandon’s anxious expression, Savanna felt her heart ached even more. She forced a faint smile. “No, don’t worry about me. I just…”

Savanna hesitated.

Brandon saw Savanna’s hesitation, and his eyes were full of concern. He stopped walking and looked at Savanna’s face. He could only see a vague outline because the sunlight shone into the room and the mask on Savanna’s face glowed.
