Annie kicked Damian under the table, making him feel even more aggrieved. He was mad, but he did not dare to speak

out.

Annie turned to Madelyn and said, “Don’t bother with him. He’s just an idiot.”

Annie could tell from her earlier reaction that Madelyn might

have some issues with conceiving.

As such, the emotionally intelligent Annie didn’t bring up the

topic of children again.

The two began to talk about bags and jewelry.

When jewelry was mentioned, Annie became excited, her eyes shining as she asked, “Do you know about the designer called Naomi Palmer, who has been growing more popular internationally in the last two years?”

“Yes, I’ve heard of her.”

Madelyn nodded.

Annie expressed, “The jewelry she designs is highly sought

after, but she only releases four collections a year, with each collection limited to five sets. It’s almost impossible to get one. What’s even more frustrating is that she didn’t release any collections this year!”

Annie looked disappointed after speaking. Last year, she tried to get each of the four seasonal collections but failed every time.

She had hoped to acquire some this year, but Naomi Palmer hadn’t released anything.

Madelyn smiled.

“Maybe something came up, or perhaps designing isn’t her main profession.”

Annie nodded in response.

“Maybe, but her designs are amazing. Her first collection

even won an award. Everyone was curious about what the designer of ‘Spring‘ looked like, but she didn’t even show up to accept the award. She’s basically a mystery.”

Talking about it made Annie even more disappointed. She

vowed that she must meet Naomi in her lifetime.

Suddenly, she noticed Madelyn’s earrings.

“Wait! Don’t move!”

She reached out and gently removed one of Madelyn’s earrings, examining it closely before exclaiming, “Isn’t this from Naomi’s second collection, ‘Summer Cicadas“?”

Before Madelyn could speak, Annie emotionally blurted, ” How did you get them? This design is my favorite! I tried for two months but couldn’t get them, so how did you manage
