Mafia's Rebellious Bride: His Forbidden Obsession novel Chapter 25

Third-person POV

Nikolai woke up before the sun could fully rise. The first sight he witnessed was the woman of his dreams lying in his arms. The warm glow of the first sunrays cast a glow over her.

Alessia. His Dolcezza. His obsession. The reason for his madness and sanity.

He had imagined her claiming her in every possible way, but nothing could have prepared him for what had happened the previous night.

It was unexpected, yet he liked it. He's always been drawn to the spark inside her. She had fought, played with, and pushed him to the edge, but she had ultimately surrendered, as she always had.

And at that moment, she looked so soft and delicate. There was a peace on her face, that he hadn't seen since his return. To him, she is the most beautiful sight at which he could stare all day long.

A smirk crept up at his lips as he noticed the marks he had left on her body, branding her as his.

His finger lazily traced her bare shoulder, his gaze following the same path. His possessive instincts kicked in, and he leaned down, pressing his lips to her shoulder, trailing them up her neck, tasting the remnants of last night. She shifted slightly but didn’t wake.

Her reaction encouraged him, and he decided to tease her awake. His hand slid down beneath the sheets, grazing softly over the curve of her waist, which felt like silk, between her thighs, stopping just above her sensitive clit.

He felt her body respond before she did. Her breathing labored, and her lips parted slightly. He slipped his fingers between her folds, barely touching but enough to make her body twitch. A small whimper escaped her lips.

And even when she stirred in her deep sleep, he didn't stop, nor did he want to...

Alessia's POV

I stirred slightly when I felt myself trapped in the warmth of a strong body. I could feel kisses on my forehead and fingers tracing over my skin delicately. It was like possessive worship, which I had felt before.

I slept so deeply last night that my mind was still hazy. I had to force myself to think about last night. And when the events came back to my head, I prayed it had all been a dream. A bad dream.

My eyes shot open, and my hope shattered.

Unfortunately, it was a reality, and I was in the arms of the devil himself. His face was mere inches away from mine. His green eyes pierced directly into my soul. A shiver ran down my spine, and my body stiffened.

A soft, inaudible gasp escaped my mouth when I felt him moving his finger down there. He was still touching me!

“What the hell are you doing?” I shouted.

I jerked away and shifted, trying to sit up while pulling the sheets around my body, but he wouldn't let me.

Nikolai smirked and gripped the sheets tightly, unfazed by my defense. His torso came into contact with my thighs as he pulled me impossibly closer to his body, not willing to let go.

“Waking you up, Dolcezza,” he said as if everything were normal between us.

I swallowed hard when he began rubbing himself against me. I was still sore down there; he was so relentless, yet my body was craved him.

Why is this happening to me?

It is making me feel even guiltier.

How could my body enjoy all this after knowing what he has done to my family?

One of his arms spooned me from behind, his fingers tangled in my unruly hair as he started massaging my head. My eyes closed on their own as I began to feel at ease. His intoxicating scent surrounded me, making it difficult for me to think clearly.

"Enjoying yourself? Huh?"

My eyes shot open.

"Relax, Dolcezza. You are my wife. You have every right to relax in my arms."

He massaged my scalp more, grazing the tips of his fingers on my bare back. Pressing my hands against his chest, I pushed him away instead of drawing towards the pleasure his fingers are providing me.

“Don’t touch me.”
