Married Ex-Fiancé’s Uncle (Abigail) novel Chapter 134

Chapter 134 Wait for Me

Facing his suspicion, Abigail remained calm, even softening her tone further. "How could I? John, you've said I'm your wife. Where else would I go?"

She batted her eyelashes, feigning shyness. "I just want our first time to be special."

"Really?" John was swayed.

With a coquettish glance, Abigail spoke demurely, "This is your territory. Could a mere woman like me escape right under your nose? If we're going to play, let's play something enjoyable. John, you're not afraid of a woman, are you?"

No man could resist such a provocation.

John, predictably, began to feel elated.

He thought, "She can't escape anyway. It's better to untie her than to keep her bound."

John placed his hand on the knot at Abigail's ankle, excitement in his voice as he said, "Alright, I'll untie you. Let's take our time and have some fun!"

Abigail giggled coquettishly.

John slowly untied the rope, not forgetting to take advantage of her.

He was testing Abigail. If she showed the slightest resistance or disgust, he would tie her up again immediately.

Abigail suppressed her revulsion. Once free, she did not rush to escape but put on a docile smile.

John was delighted and said with a wicked grin, "Come here. Let's see what tricks you have up your sleeve."

Despite her disgust, Abigail had to act as if nothing was wrong. She reached up and placed her hand on his shoulder, using it to pull herself up.

A single Bluetooth earpiece emitted a soft blue light. Marcus listened to the sounds coming through, and when he looked up, his eyes were bloodshot, looking sinister and terrifying.

The next moment, he clenched his fist and slammed it into the floor-to-ceiling window in front of him.

A loud crash followed, but the glass didn't shatter, but the point of impact spiderwebbed with fine cracks.

Shards of glass bit into the back of his hand, and his fingers were instantly mangled and bloody.

Vincent, who rushed in through the door, was startled by the scene.

He quickly reported, "Mr. Fitzgerald, the aviation authority has approved the flight path. The helicopter will arrive on the rooftop in one minute!"

In just a few seconds, the atmosphere in the office seemed even more tense.

Vincent felt a chill and unconsciously softened his breathing.

Two minutes earlier, Marcus had received a phone call and abruptly declared the meeting over.

Then, he ordered Vincent to apply for immediate return to Claudia.

Vincent wondered, "What on earth could have happened to make the usually imperturbable Mr. Fitzgerald so anxious?"

Marcus gazed out the window. A heavy rain was approaching.
