"What about Derick and Ava? What have you done to them?" she demanded, her eyes red, ready to fight him for answers.

His dark eyes were turbulent like a stormy sea, deep and chilling.

He stared at Selena, a cruel smile curling his lips, finally answering her.

"Derick let me down big time. I told him to dig up the truth, and I’d forgive him for meddling in my personal life. But he chose to back you instead. You ask what happened to him?"

"Selena, I'm curious, how do you think I should handle him?"
