Mr. Norman, She's Out of Your League Now novel Chapter 54

So, not only did Charlotte fall onto Brian's lap, but she also unbuckled his belt... Her graceful face instantly turned awkward.

Why did this always happen to her? Once or twice could've been an accident, but now, Brian—that jerk—was probably going to accuse her of doing it on purpose again!

Charlotte quickly pulled her hand back, feeling embarrassed as she apologized, "Sorry, it wasn't intentional."

She didn't want to linger around him. She tried to get up as quickly as possible, eager to distance herself from him. This time, her movements were swift and smooth.

However, just as she managed to stand, Brian grabbed her wrist. Charlotte immediately grew tense and asked, "W-What are you doing?"

Brian squinted in the darkness. Earlier, he had a vague feeling that she seemed strangely familiar but didn't think too much of it. Now, that feeling resurfaced as he held her hand. Especially the feeling of her hand, the bony structure of her fingers, and the size of her wrist.

Brian couldn't help but think of someone—Charlotte! That woman was just as thin! It was as though he was trying to confirm something, so he gently rubbed her hand.

Charlotte's face turned pale. What did this man mean? Had he figured something out?

Startled, Charlotte quickly pulled her hand away, trying to sound calm as she said, "Mr. Norman, please have some decency. The lights went out earlier, and it was too dark for me to see, so I ended up falling on you. But that doesn't give you the right to behave this way!"

She quickly got up and took a few steps back. Her heart pounded wildly, worried that Brian might realize her true identity. The smooth sensation in his hand disappeared, causing Brian to frown.

Although Mandy was also petite like Charlotte, Charlotte's voice was different. The woman in front of him was clearly more assertive.
