Mr. Norman, She's Out of Your League Now novel Chapter 56

Amber was delicate and pretty. She had a soft and sweet voice that made it hard for anyone not to like her.

However, just after she finished introducing herself, she heard a surprised voice from the back of the classroom. "Huh?"

Amber was puzzled, thinking, "Why does that voice sound so familiar?"

She turned toward the back of the classroom and locked eyes with Kayden. When she saw him, she was surprised. She hadn't expected to run into him here.

Kayden didn't expect to meet Amber either. He was pretty happy about it. He usually found the kids here too immature, and since he was naturally more composed, he didn't really get along with them. But Amber was different—he really liked her.

"Alright. Since everyone has met Amber, let's get ready to start the lesson!"

The teacher finished speaking and assigned Amber a seat.

Coincidentally, it was right in front of Kayden. He had a lot he wanted to say to her. After waiting for what felt like forever, he immediately greeted her when class was over. "What a coincidence, Amber! You're actually attending this kindergarten!"

He was glad he came to kindergarten today. Otherwise, he would have missed the chance to meet her.

Compared to Kayden's excitement and happiness, Amber just nodded, thinking, "It is quite a coincidence... If Mommy comes to pick me up, will she run into Brian?"

She couldn't help but worry about this.

Just then, another kid wearing a yellow princess dress eagerly ran over to invite Kayden. "Kayden, let's go play a game together!"

A few other girls followed her, and she was clearly their leader. Her round face was quite cute.

Usually, Kayden wouldn't be interested in playing with them, but he realized that since Amber had just arrived today, she needed to fit in quickly. So, he asked Amber, "Amber, do you want to play?"

Amber shook her head and said, "Thanks, but I'm not interested. You all go ahead and play."
