"How weak!" Amber thought.
Melissa was the one who started the fight, but she didn't have what it takes to see it through. Amber couldn't help but feel a little disgusted.
Melissa had no idea that Amber could do that to her. Terrified, she immediately burst into tears. Her cries quickly attracted the attention of the teachers.
The teachers, worried that something serious had happened, rushed over to see what was going on. By the time they arrived, Amber had already let go of Melissa's arm, but Melissa didn't stop crying.
"What's going on? What happened?"
As soon as Stella Kent appeared, she immediately asked about the situation.
Before Amber could speak, Melissa, eager to shift the blame, cried out, "Amber hit me!"
Stella was surprised as Amber didn't seem like the type to bully others. She turned to Amber, who appeared perfectly obedient, and asked, "Is this true? Did you hit Melissa?"
Amber shook her head, explaining in her sweet voice, "I didn't hit her. She was the one who started it. She and these other kids cornered me and wouldn't let me leave..."
The other children who had been named were too scared to say anything.
Stella sighed, feeling a headache coming on.
The children in this kindergarten came from wealthy and influential families. Even when they were wrong, they couldn't be scolded or punished.
She had no choice but to take them to the office to get a clearer account of the situation.
Amber wasn't afraid of the other kids' numbers. She calmly explained, "Melissa was the one who started it. She grabbed me, and I stopped her. Uncle Evan said that's called self-defense, not bullying!"
