Naomi quickly introduced herself, saying, "I'm the general manager of Zarr Group. The chairman of the board, Dominic Zarr, is my father."
After hearing this, Brian responded coldly, "I've never heard of that company."
At this, she felt awkward. However, she could only force a smile and explain, "Mr. Norman, you handle international-level business while we're just a small company in Marindale. It's normal for you not to have heard of us."
Brian didn't respond to her flattery. He said directly, "My time is valuable, and I don't want to waste it. Before I came here, I'd already heard the general details from Kayden. Your solution to this issue is to have another child apologize to your daughter, and if she doesn't, you want the kindergarten to expel her, is that right?"
His tone was flat, and Naomi couldn't detect any emotion in his voice. She could only press on, "Yes. That's correct. But I just want to get justice for my daughter. After all, she was hit!"
Brian remained expressionless, "Oh? She was hurt? Did you have her injuries checked?"
"Well... no." Naomi awkwardly smiled.
He wasn't satisfied with that answer. His tone turned grim as he asked, "Is it that you didn't have her checked or that she wasn't actually injured?"
The oppressive pressure in his voice seemed to make the air around them colder.
Naomi broke out into a cold sweat. Melissa wasn't injured at all. Naomi had just wanted to use her influence to pressure others, never imagining that she would run into someone like Brian.
Now, she could forget about trying to get on his good side. His tone alone suggested that he might be angry.
It seemed that today's matter wouldn't be resolved so easily. Naomi started to feel anxious and didn't know how to respond.
Brian wasn't unreasonable. From the way the situation was unfolding, he could tell that Naomi was the one looking for trouble. What Kayden had told him was completely accurate.
