“Alex, I’m putting you in charge of the Mayhill development project. Make sure you handle it well.”
Zack publicly announced that Alex would be in charge of the big project. It was no surprise, as Alex was his favorite grandson.
“Got it, Grandpa. Don’t worry, I’ll do it right and won’t let you down!” Alex patted his chest and promised. He was thrilled.
He did not expect Dustin’s hard work to end up benefiting him. It was a huge surprise.
The more he saw Dustin’s angry face, the happier he felt.
The Yeager family members watched Dustin with cold eyes and gloated.
Alex was happy and looked at Dustin with mockery.
“This isn’t fair!” Patricia yelled. “Why should Alex take the credit for a deal Dustin made? Aren’t you ashamed of yourselves?”
“Enough!” Zack shouted.
“Patricia, know your place! How dare you speak like that to your elders?” someone yelled at her.
“Patricia, the Yeager family has done a lot for you and your mom over the years. You should be more respectful. Why make trouble over an outsider?” Evan said as he tried to reason with her.
Dustin quickly stood up, turned, and walked out.
Patricia hesitated for a moment but then followed him.
“Hmph, no manners.” Zack coldly watched them leave.
“A useless person like Dustin is an outsider, no matter what. He thinks he can get involved with our family’s businesses? What a joke!”
“It’s better if that loser leaves sooner than later. He’s just in the way.”
The rest of the Yeager family members stayed silent and exchanged cold looks.
No one cared about Dustin anyway, and it made them feel better.
“Working with the Swansong Group is a huge honor. We need to make sure we take full advantage of this opportunity. This is our chance to rise!” Zack said with a smile.
The Yeager family members all looked hopeful. They imagined a bright future ahead.
“Once this project succeeds, the Yeager family will move up and be recognized as a second-rate family in Hattan!”
Everyone was filled with hopeful thoughts and immersed in the joy of success.
Outside the villa, Patricia ran after Dustin.
“Dustin, I’m sorry. It’s because of me that you’ve been treated badly,” she said guiltily.
“I don’t want you to be involved anymore. I don’t want you to face their humiliation and unfairness.”
Dustin smiled softly.
“Don’t worry. They won’t be able to humiliate me,” he said calmly.
“As for the project with the Swansong Group, Alex won’t necessarily have a good outcome tomorrow. Just wait and see.”
Patricia was stunned.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
