Just imagining it made her want to dig a hole for herself to crawl into and die!
She spent the rest of the day hard at work. When her shift finally ended, she packed away the cleaning implements and left.
As usual, she crossed the street to wait for a bus that would take her back to her apartment.
The bus was running late today… Half an hour, and it still hadn’t shown up.
Her handphone rang. It was her mother.
Willow answered the call. “Hi, Mom. What’s up?”
Her mother’s grumpy voice started rattling off immediately, “You promised me a full explanation! Why aren’t you back yet? Thinking to play me for a fool again?!”
“I’m on my way back. I’ll be there soon. Just wait a little longer.” Annoyed, Willow hung up on her.
Instead of a bus, the next vehicle to appear was a taxi cab, which pulled right up to her by the roadside. Without a second thought, nor a single glance to see who might be inside, she opened the door and got aboard, giving the driver directions to her apartment.
Without a word, the driver stepped on the gas and took off, picking up quite a lot of speed…
Meanwhile, Jasper just happened to be passing by in his own car, and caught sight of Willow getting into a taxi cab… which was being driven by Dale White!
Jasper’s expression darkened.
He’d been about to turn left at the intersection ahead, on his way back home…
By now, he had a solid idea of what kind of woman Willow Nason was: A shameless whore who regularly seduced men for her own gain, no matter how slight.
For the sake of her relation to Yvette Nason, he’d aided her several times already. More than enough.
As for which sort of men she wanted to ply her trade with… that was none of his business, whatsoever!
