I was just dressed in a track pants and some loose t-shirt when Calvin came behind me, only with a towel around his waist and hugged my waist. I laughed and tried pushing him away but he only tightened his arms around me.

I honestly did not mind him hugging me but we had a hard time getting off the bed and I wouldn't want us to be jumping on it again.

I wished Calvin would have marked me earlier, at my own will or not. Only last night that I felt closer to him, even before we mated. I felt himself totally with him that I could read him, I could feel him, and I could open to him. Was that what I heard some girls in school said 'the best feeling ever' when I smelled their scent mixed with their male wolf?

Somehow or rather, I still felt uneasy when I thought about Valerie. Some part of me just couldn't let it go and in future, should I see them together or even just talk, I would probably murder Valerie because now that Calvin and I are mated, I would be more protective of him just like he would be of me. But I still managed to cool down and put the thoughts aside because Valerie is not around now. And other than that, I felt so safe and alive and calm around Calvin.

I felt Calvin started to give me small bites on my earlobe and that was my cue to stop him or else it would lead us to something else.

"Calvin... we need to go down," I said.

"No," he dragged, "We don't if we don't want to."

"But I need to go down," I insisted, "I'm hungry."

Calvin eyed me playfully and then smiled. "Alright, wait for me to get dress and then we'll go down together and have brunch."

I walked hand in hand with Calvin out of the room and down the stairs. For once, I felt so blessed. All these while, I've been wanting to experience this with my mate and now I have the chance to walk freely with him.

From afar, we could see the dining table was cleared out of any food and at the same time my stomach growled shamefully. How could I not be hungry after last night and this morning?

Calvin laughed loudly and the sound of my stomach. "Come, I'll make a special breakfast for you."

He dragged me into the kitchen and placed me down on top of the counter while he took out some other ingredients like pancake mix, bacon, baked beans and eggs. We talked a bit as he cooked and in no time, all of the food that he had cooked and orange juice and milk were served in the small dining table in the kitchen.

I sat opposite him and watched him squirted the whipped cream all over my pancake. I was just cutting the a piece and about to put it in my mouth when I heard my brother's voice.
