Then, he said with a cold face, “She ruins my cooperation and flirts with the gigolo. My anger will burn her!”

Looking at him, Gilbert was surprised.

In his memory, Nathaniel was not interested in Janet, or the divorce was impossible to happen.

Gilbert teased, “How could you badger her since you are not a couple now? You want her to come back?”

Nathaniel frowned after hearing that.

“Badger?”

“How could I do that since I never loved her? And what Gilbert is totally impossible.”

“I did that because of Janet’s attitude, which is hard for me to accept.”

Janet asked Ann to get the delicate porcelain by using a lie to ruin his business, which made him so furious.

“The cooperation between the Webster Group and the Ann Group was ruined by her.”

Gilbert understood the reason after hearing that.

“The cooperation was essential to Nathaniel since Anastasia’s scandal influenced the Webster Group’s fame.”

And the investment of Ann Group was needed by Nathaniel, which meant the Webster Group could get a reputation again and rebound

share price.

But now, the cooperation was gone.

Well, that might explain why he acted in this way, but Gilbert didn’t believe it.
