My Past is Just Prologue (Janet and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 113

Read My Past is Just Prologue By Louisa Dillon Chapter 113 – Meeting at a Plane

After sending Ann away. Janet made an internal call.

Now in the Longfellow Group, the person she could trust the most was Geordie, so she called Geordie.

“Uncle, I’m going to A City to attend a new media industry summit in two days, and you have to keep an eye on the company’s affairs.”

When Geordie heard this, he smiled and said, “Don’t worry, I will look after the company.”

Geordie temporarily arranged the company, and Janet could feel a little more at ease if she wanted to leave.

She used these three days to deal with some urgent matters at hand. Two cooperation cases that had entered the final stage had been handed over to Geordie to continue to follow up. After she arrived in A City, she could also handle the rest remotely.

After everything was arranged, Janet began to look forward to going to A City.

Three days later. Janet was driven by his assistant to Raleigh Airport.

She didn’t like being too attractive, and A City was not too far away, and she was no stranger to A city, so she didn’t bring any entourage with her, only a small suitcase.

After check-in, it was still early, so Janet ordered a cup of coffee and sat in the VIP lounge waiting for boarding.

From the comer of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a figure, which seemed a little familiar, but when she looked again, it was nobody.

Janet smiled, it seemed that her eyes were dazzled because of bad sleep.

It was just that, at this moment, she still didn’t know what kind of “surprise” the next trip would bring her.

About forty minutes before the plane took off, a voice prompt began to be played on the radio: “Passengers heading to A City, please note that your flight au3265 is now boarding. Please take your belongings and show your boarding pass. Boarding at Gate 4. Have a nice trip.”

Hearing the announcement, Janet immediately got up and went to board the plane, going to the first-class cabin.

She was happy with the seat in the corner.

There were not so many distractions. After she was seated, she took out her laptop and quickly browsed the reports submitted by several

departments.

Since the location was close to the air outlet. Janet only wore a short skirt, and the cool air from the air conditioner blew her legs, making

her skin shudder.

She looked up at a flight attendant not far away, and beckoned, “Please give me a blanket, thank you.”

After speaking, Janet continued to check the work report on the screen.

Not long after, a blanket was handed to her.

Janet watched intently and did not raise her eyes.

Thinking it was the flight attendant who brought the blanket, she took it and said “thank you” by the way.

However, the person did not let go.

Janet tugged twice, but the blanket didn’t move at all. She raised her eyes in doubt, and met the man’s meaningful eyes.

“Why you?”

She was very surprised to meet Nathaniel Webster unexpectedly on the plane.
