My Past is Just Prologue (Janet and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 134

Read My Past is Just Prologue By Louisa Dillon Chapter 134 – Nathaniel Walks to Janet

Everyone looked at Nathaniel and Nigel. It seemed that Nathaniel was staring at Janet and Nigel with an unfriendly gaze as if Nathaniel was about to explode at any moment.

“All right, Jill, let’s go.”

After settling the matter, Nigel winked at Janet. While most men would look ugly when they winked, Nigel still looked good. Janet thought that Nigel was so handsome.

“That’s enough. Let me go. I can walk by myself.”

Janet felt awkward being held by him and wanted him to let go.

Their voices were low, so no one could hear them. Nigel covered his chest with his hand and complained in an affected way, “Jill, I just helped you get out of the trouble, and you are going to kick me away. You hurt me!”

“I said enough,” Janet said lightly.

“All right, I won’t tease you anymore. I’ll take you to the first row. You’ll have the best view there,” Nigel said seriously.

Without giving Janet a chance to refuse, Nigel took her past the crowd and went straight to the middle of the first row of the venue. He arranged for her to sit down while he sat next to her.

Janet noticed that this was the seat for the organizer and some invited media, so she wanted to go to the back row, but Nigel

stopped her.

“You are my guest. You don’t have to move.”

Janet’s arm was grabbed by the man, so she said speechlessly, “It’s enough. I am here as an ordinary person invited to the Convention. And now, even if I win on my own, people will suspect that I win because of you.”

Nigel smiled when he heard this.

“It’s not that I can’t help you win…”

“Nigel,” Janet called his name seriously. “Don’t do that. There is enough public opinion about me. It’s not like I’m not good. enough. I can win on my own,” Janet said coldly.

Nigel stopped smiling at her words.

How could he not understand what Janet was thinking?

From the moment he knew her, Nigel knew that Janet was a strong woman. She would do what she wanted by herself.

But there was something that he wanted to tell her.
