Chapter 153 Calm and Disdainful 

Anastasia also knew that this was a risky move, but if she didn’t do this, she would have no chance at all. 

Anastasia thought, if we have sex, coupled with Nathaniel’s gratitude for saving his life, he will not leave me alone! 

“Are you hungry? Let’s eat.” 

Nathaniel lowered his head and glanced at his watch, his expression a little impatient. 

Anastasia pestered Nathaniel to have dinner with her. However, when Nathaniel arrived at the restaurant, Anastasia only looked at him and didn’t eat. Nathaniel felt a little strange. 

Most importantly, Nathaniel found that his mind was full of Janet. 

The person who Nathaniel had never looked at before was now able to affect him so much that he lost control. 

Nathaniel was very agitated. 

Anastasia smiled and poured herself and Nathaniel a glass of red wine. She said with her sexy red lips, “Nathaniel, would you like a drink?” 

Nathaniel subconsciously wanted to refuse, but he saw Anastasia curl her lips. It seemed that she was about to cry. 

“Nathaniel it’s just a drink together. Are you not willing? I thought even if we can’t be a couple, at least we can be friends.” Anastasia said 

with tears in her eyes. 

Seeing Anastasia like this, Nathaniet furrowed his brows tightly. 

Nathaniel thought, Anastasia saved my life. She is suffering from depression, so she can’t be stimulated too much. 

If Anastasia is just an ordinary person, I won’t care about her, but Anastasia… 

No matter what, she was the one who risked my life to save me from the fire. 

Nathaniel picked up the glass, clicked it against hers, and downed it in one gulp. 

Anastasia curled her lips and poured him another glass of wine. She said softly, “Nathaniel, thank you. If it weren’t for you, I don’t know how to live on. I propose a toast to you.” 

After saying this, Anastasia drank up the red wine in her glass and looked at Nathaniel expectantly. 

Nathaniel had no choice but to drink it. 

Then, Anastasia poured him a few glasses of wine through various means. 

Anastasia knew that Nathaniel was a good drinker and wouldn’t get drunk so easily. Anastasia thought, however, with the effect of alcohol and everything I have prepared, I will succeed. 

When Janet woke up, it was an hour later. 

The weather in Austin was dry, and Janet felt her face a little tense. Thinking of the hotel’s propaganda saying that there was a matching 

beauty salon there, Janet planned to get a facial. 

The beauty salon was on the 18th floor of the hotel. Coincidentally, the restaurant was on the same floor. 

When passing through the restaurant, Janet looked inside. The overall environment of the restaurant was good. There were not too many people, which could ensure enough personal space. 

Janet thought that she would go to the restaurant to eat something after she got a facial. 

Janet went to the front desk of the beauty salon to show her a VIP card. Immediately, someone guided her to the VIP’s beauty room. Light 

music was playing in the beauty room, and there were also lots of drinks. The environment was good. 

However, Janet did not notice that a pair of resentful eyes in the corner were staring at her. 

Anastasia did not expect to meet Janet when getting a facial. 

What made Anastasia most resentful was that she was not a VIP customer of the hotel. So Anastasia couldn’t enjoy the top–grade beauty treatment plan of the beauty salon, so she could only do ordinary ones! 

Some people recognized Anastasia and sneered at her.
