Chapter 216 Sharneless Nathaniel 

Nigel was shocked. 

He admitted that he didn’t show up in the first place when he found out that Janet was injured. But Nigel thought there wasn’t anything for Nathaniel to brag about. Nathaniel just happened to see Janet being kidnapped. 

Janet felt complicated as she watched Nigel and Nathaniel fight. She stared at Nathaniel, wanting to see through his thoughts. 

After all, Janet had already divorced Nathaniel and thought Nathaniel had no right to step into her life at the moment. 

‘Nathaniel, you’re shameless.” 

Nathaniel was surprised by Janet’s abrupt words and had a long face. 

Janet looked at Nathaniel with her thin lips pursing and acted indifferent. “Nathaniel, I don’t know what you want. But I am very grateful to you for coming to save me. As for us, we have already divorced, so…” 

She paused for a moment, and the corners of her lips curled up into a cold smile. “You have no right to intervene in my life, let alone blame me over something that’s none of your business. I will pay for your medical expenses as a thank you. Is that okay? The matter ends here. So Mr. Webster, please go back to your ward.” 

After that, Janet pulled Nigel away. 

Alfred looked at Janet’s back and was stunned. 

Ms. Longfellow had such a terrifying aura! 

Alfred had always thought that since Nathaniel had saved Janet’s life, their relationship could be better. Now it seemed that Nathaniel had, instead, really offended Janet. 

So Alfred silently prayed for Nathaniel in his heart. 

Judging from Janet’s current condition, Alfred figured Nathaniel would probably have to make great efforts if Nathaniel 

wanted to chase her back 

As for Nathaniel, his face turned ghastly pale as he watched Janet leave. 

“Ungrateful little bitch!” 

After saying that, Nathaniel turned around and left with a cold face, leaving Alfred in a mess. Was Mr. Webster talking about 

Ms. Longfellow? 

Why did he sound like a resentful husband? 

As Janet left with Nigel, Nigel could clearly feel the strength from Janet’s wrist, and Janet was still unconsciously exerting 

force. 

Nigel’s eyes were full of sorrow.

The two of them then left the hospital. Nigel patted his car. 

“Let’s go. I’ll send you home.” 

He raised the car keys and smiled devilishly. Janet patted him speechlessly instead. “Alright, you should go back and take some rest. I still have something to do.” 

“It just so happens that I have nothing to do in the afternoon. I’ll accompany you” Nigel opened the car door. 

“There’s no need. I can solve this small matter by myself. As for you, although the results of the inspection say that there is nothing wrong, you should not overstrain yourself for the time being. Have a good rest. Do you hear me?” Janet refused Nigel’s offer. 

Her tone was very fierce. Nigel still wanted to say something, but Janet pointed to the car. 

“Get in the car. We can’t stop here for too long. Otherwise, the police will come later.” 

Nigel knew that he would not be able to change her idea, and he also knew that Janet would not let herself fall into danger, so 

he nodded and returned home. 

Seeing him leave, Janet had a cold face. 

She realized it was time to settle some business. 

After checking the address on her cell phone, she called a taxi and left the hospital. 

Nathaniel, who had just come out of the hospital, witnessed the scene. He saw that Janet didn’t leave with Nigel and also noticed Janet’s frown. What is she going to do? 

Alfred drove to pick Nathaniel up. After Nathaniel got in the car, he said in a low voice, “Follow the taxi with the number 57 in 

front.” 

Alfred didn’t dare to ask what had happened, so he could only do as he was told. 

Along the way, their car followed behind the taxi. Because there were many cars on the road, and Alfred intentionally kept a distance, Janet didn’t find out about their stalk. 

When they arrived at a familiar block, Nathaniel frowned even more. 

What does she come here for? 

Janet had already come out of the taxi. What happened in the hospital made Janet feel very bad, so she went directly to the third floor with a cold face. After finding the destination, she knocked three times on the door heavily. 

The door was opened very quickly. Anastasia saw Janet and was stunned for a moment. Before Anastasia could say anything, Janet directly pushed the door open and walked in.
