Chapter 253 Stop Gloating
“Him…”
Marvin drawled his voice and subconsciously looked at Donahue, holding back his laughter,
Donahue did not make a sound, but his eyes were smiling as well,
“What’s going on?” Janet was confused,
“About Beacher, I have no idea what he was doing a few days ago. But right
now, I think he is busy clearing his name,” Marvin said slowly.
“What is that supposed to mean?” Janet asked, feeling more puzzled,
Before she could finish, the door of the ward was pushed open with a bang.
“Jill!”
Beacher rushed in with messy hair and almost pounced at Janet’s bed.
Fortunately, Marvin reacted in time and raised his leg to stop Beacher.
“You are so reckless. You may hurt Jill!”
Janet was not hurt, but she was a little confused by Beacher’s sudden
appearance.
She thought, I very much suspect that the anesthetic I have just been given has affected my brilliant brain, or why can’t I tell what they are doing?
“Beacher, what’s with you?”
Beacher was sweating profusely. The fury and worry on his handsome face had not dissipated, and he reached out to grab Janet’s hand to check. “Jill,
let me take a look. Where are you hurt?”

Janet hurriedly said, “I’m fine, Beacher. It’s nothing serious.”
“Liar! Then why do you look so pale? Damn it! If those people were in my
hands, they would suffer!”
Beacher was furious. After he finished speaking, he wanted to grab Janet
and check on her again.
Marvin grabbed Beacher’s collar and threw Beacher to the back of the room
without hesitation.
“Fuck! Marvin!”
Beacher turned around, his eyes burning with rage.
Marvin clicked his tongue and said, “I’ve reminded you already. Don’t be so
reckless when you are with Jill. If you hurt her, you’ll be in trouble!”
Beacher wanted to talk back, but when he thought that Donahue was aside,
he held back his anger. His cheeks were puffed up, making him look like a
frog.
Janet sensed something. Chances were, someone in the ward provoked
Beacher.
She was always interested in being an onlooker. Now that there was a
potential drama, she felt that the wound on her body healed much more
quickly.
“Beacher, who messed with you?” she asked, intrigued.
Beacher glared at Marvin.
“Him! He turned a blind eye!” Beacher was pissed off. Yet he still knew the person he couldn’t afford to offend, so when he looked at Donahue, his tone turned much weaker, though he still sounded full of resentment. He said,
Got Bo
“And Donahue, too.”
Marvin burst out laughing.
He thought, I wanted to question Donahue. I called him, and all he said was none of his assistants were available. And then he hung up on me!
Yeah, right!
He is a CEO, and he couldn’t even spare me an assistant?
But I don’t dare to take it out on Donahue, which makes Marvin the only
outlet.
