Chapter 338 Janet Is Quite to My Liking
Inside the president’s office of the Webster Group.
Donahuciel closed his eyes and fell asleep in the lounge of the office. On the desktop was a printed invitation card with dark blue background.
It was written in cursive script, with four large characters of “Peaceral Jewelry“, and seemed wild and unrestrained.
Just like their president, who was rarely seen. She did her way, and she still refused to meet him, not worried that it would offend him.
This was not like an invitation, but more like a show–off.
Donahueiel picked up the invitation card and stroked it lightly.
Janet’s angry little face appeared before his eyes again.
He didn’t expect that he would have such a day.
He lowered his profile and sincerely went to talk about cooperation, but was kicked out
in disgrace.
In the midst of the confusion, the phone suddenly rang.
Picking up the phone and looking at it, Donahueiel raised his eyebrows slightly and
turned the phone on.
The moment he clicked on the message, his fingertips froze.
Gilbert sent a photo, which looked a bit blurry, but the people in the photo could still be
seen clearly.
It was Janet. There was a boy next to her and a man opposite her. He was somewhat
familiar, but Donahueiel couldn’t remember who it was for a while.
The boy seemed very angry and was beating the strange man.
And Janet stood aside, unable to see her expression clearly.
Donahueiel frowned, tapped the phone screen with one hand, and only replied to a
word, “Boring.”
What did Gilbert want to say?
Janet had a good life after leaving him and had two new male companions, and now
these two were even competing for her.
Donahueiel’s hand holding the phone tightened unconsciously, and his thin lips were
pursed into a straight line.
At this moment, Gilbert’s phone call came in.
Donahueiel hesitated for a few seconds before connecting.
His tone was cold and impatient, “What’s the matter?”
“Did you see the photo I sent you?”
There was a smile in Gilbert’s tone, “I’m going shopping at Ht with my girlfriend today,
and I want to take a break at the coffee shop, but it was reserved.”
“A man and a woman were fighting fiercely. I wanted to go up to stop the fight, but I
saw your wife there.”
Donahueiel corrected him ruthlessly, his tone was cold, “Ex–wife.”
As he spoke, he clicked on the photo just now and zoomed in.
It turned out that the handsome boy was a woman.
Trying to keep himself calm and indifferent, Donahueiel said casually, “You have another girlfriend. How many did you change?”
Gilbert spoke righteously, “I will not give up on having a girlfriend until I find my true
destiny.”
After a pause, he rubbed his chin and smiled, “But I still think Janet is quite to my
liking, anyway, you…”
“Gilbert!”
Donahueiel gritted his teeth and called his name, the chill made people shudder through
the phone.
Gilbert trembled unconsciously, coughed lightly, and became ill–intentioned.
He leaned against the door of the store and glanced in from time to time, “Okay, I won’t be joking with you anymore, to be serious, I heard a little bit of their conversation, do
you want to listen?”
Donahueiel rubbed the phone with his fingertips, and took a deep breath, feeling that
his patience was slowly running out, “Say!”
Gilbert smiled triumphantly, and answered irrelevantly, “I have more pictures, do you
want to see them?”
looked at them, he felt that there was reluctance in Janet’s smile.
He knew that with Janet’s arrogance, she would never be entangled with a married
