My Past is Just Prologue (Janet and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 34

Read My Past is Just Prologue By Louisa Dillon Chapter 34 – He Should Marry Ms. Longfellow

Ernest seemed to have something urgent to do, so he said goodbye to Janet and then left.

“Ms. Longfellow!” As soon as Ernest left, a man stepped to Janet enthusiastically and said, “I’ve heard a lot about you. I didn’t expect that you would come to this auction. Which treasure are you determined to get today?”

As he spoke, the man deftly handed over his business card.

Janet took a look at it and found that the man was Primo, the general manager of the Wilson Group, who had recently cooperated with the Longfellow Group.

“Well, there is indeed something that I am interested in.”

In response to Primo’s friendly gesture, Janet politely replied.

Since she had taken back the Longfellow Group, there were a lot of interpersonal relationships to deal with, and she should take a chance to build her reputation in the industry circle. As such, Janet was not going to be like Nathaniel, who was always

arrogant.

Primo really wanted to continue his cooperation with Longfellow Group, so he was particularly attentive and asked, “Oh? What kind of treasure is it? Would you please let me know, so I can take a chance sending a present to you?”

Primo wanted to ride on the coattails of the Longfellow Group, and the other companies had the same thought.

Seeing Primo talking to Janet, many other companies’ senior executives also surrounded Janet.

“Ms. Longfellow is indeed a talent. Your presence is a great honor of the whole auction!”

“That’s right! If I had known that Ms. Longfellow would come, I would have brought my Hartford sapphire necklace here for you to check.”

“Your sapphire is not that rare. If I were not so busy, I would have been sending my rosewood furniture to Ms. Longfellow long ago!”

A group of people gathered around Janet and tried to curry favor with her.

Surrounded by the crowd, Janet could only suppress the impatience in her heart and respond to them gently.

As the chairman of a group, Janet did prefer a loyal and honest person.

However, she had to admit that these wily men often had greater use in the reality business.

Because they were ambitious!

“I heard that a set of T*ng tri-colored porcelain bowls will be displayed today. I’m quite interested, so I hope you can show

some mercy.”

Since the auction house held this banquet for guests to communicate, there was no need for him to hide his purpose.

As such, Janet told them frankly.

“Wow, that set of T*ng tri-colored pottery is indeed precious! I had a crush on it before, but since Ms. Longfellow likes it, we won’t bid for it anymore. Don’t you think so?” Primo said.

“Yes, that’s right!”

All of them were cu**ing and sophisticated, hearing Primo’s words, most of the people expressed that they would no longer participate in the bidding on the set of bowls..

“I would like to thank you all.”

Janet smiled and nodded slightly, bowed a little to the crowd.
