Chapter 404 Won’t Let You Lose
“Ms. Longfellow, we can go now.”
Marco appeared with a briefcase and interrupted Nigel.
“Let’s go.” Janet walked out of the building first.
Nigel opened his mouth helplessly. He had no choice but to follow.
They drove to the outskirts of the city to inspect the site where the racing club
would be built in the future.
After they arrived, they saw the workers and grab excavators to fix the field.
Janet and others came to a simple observation deck on higher ground. The person in charge of the site project had already been notified by Marco and was waiting here in advance.
“Hello Ms. Longfellow, just call me Joseph.”
Janet shook hands with Joseph and nodded politely.
Marco handed the iPad to Janet. Janet took the documents about the plans and procedures for the avenue and handed the iPad to Nigel.
“The area in front of us will be a racing exhibition area. The most popular new racing cars will be exhibited here every season.”
“The west is close to the water. A resting area with fountains will be there. There will also be KTV and SPA for relaxing purposes.
“The northeastern part is relatively flat, which is more suitable for building a
track…”
Joseph introduced the specific plan of the venues to Nigel one by one in detail. Nigel nodded frequently and occasionally expressed his opinions.
“No problem. The plan is clear and reasonable. It will be easy to publicize it.”
“Let’s go and have a look at the track.” Janet returned the iPad to Marco.
The place was under construction, so it was a little difficult for Janet to walk
around in her high heels.
“Be careful.”
Nigel held Janet’s elbow, gentle and powerful.
The field in the northeast was very large. Marco had someone arrange a sightseeing car to wait near the track field in advance.
Before getting into the car, Nigel called to stop Janet.
Janet turned her head. A masculine, yet alluring scent of eau de toilette.
permeated her nose.
Nigel held a helmet and put it on Janet’s head with his own hands.
He gently fastened the hamlet. In his charming eyes, Janet’s face could be seen. “This is a construction site. Be careful.”
Janet pursed her lower lip, waved off Nigel’s hand, and tidied up the helmet by
herself.
“Let’s go.”
She boarded the sightseeing car first.
Nigel reached his hands into the air and followed her into the car.
The trees near the site had been cleared. The whole area could be seen clearly.
Nigel rubbed his chin with his fingers, trying to impress Janet with his own
ideas.
“Although this site is flat enough, the area is not big enough. I think we
should focus on the elite clients and win the most worthy clients in the limited
conditions.”
For a venue with a limited area, Nigel’s opinion undoubtedly had the highest pay–to–return ratio, but Janet didn’t answer. She just pointed in a direction.
Marco turned the steering wheel following Janet’s instruction. The
sightseeing car passed through the site and arrived at the foot of the mountain on the northern edge.
Nigel followed Janet out of the car, took Janet’s bag very smoothly, and naturally carried it on his shoulder.
He did it so naturally that it was as if he had done it hundreds of times.
Janet glanced at him, but said nothing.
Marco had always been responsible for carrying the bag for Janet, but now he
was free and stood quietly behind the two of them.
When they discussed the project before, Janet once said racing was a field with high standards and the target clients were limited, so Nigel naturally thought
