My Past is Just Prologue (Janet and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 95

Read My Past is Just Prologue By Louisa Dillon Chapter 95 – Janet’s Sharp Tongue

Janet frowned and looked at the people. Unexpectedly, she saw a familiar face, but she had never seen her face to face.

“Anastasia?”

That was her!

The hospital where Anastasia lived was next to this shopping mall.

She didn’t expect to meet Janet here. Janet was not only more beautiful than her, but also had a pretty face beside her, who was no less than Nathaniel. So Anastasia couldn’t help feeling a little jealous.

“Aw! Isn’t this Miss Longfellow? I’ve heard a lot about you. I didn’t expect to meet you here. What a coincidence!”

She deliberately acted as if she recognized Janet just now. She talked about the relationship between Janet and Orville directly and indirectly. Her sarcastic tone made Janet very uncomfortable.

She looked at Anastasia coldly, with an indifferent expression, “Oh, I’ve heard a lot about you, too.”

“Nathaniel will come to see me tonight. I’m going to give him a gift. Since Miss Longfellow is his ex-wife, you must know his preferences very well. May I ask you for advice?”

Anastasia made a fan with her hands, deliberately showing all kinds of precious jewelry in her hands. All of them were bought for her by Winifred at the jewelry auction.

Janet looked at Anastasia’s pretentious posture and felt nauseated. If she hadn’t been well-bred, she would really have slapped

her across the face.

Seeing Janet’s face, Anastasia smiled and spoke again.

“Oh. I forgot. If Miss Longfellow really knew about Nathaniel, I’m afraid you wouldn’t get divorced. Well, it seems that I have to choose the gift by myself. But… the men around Miss Longfellow are one after another, so are you here to buy something for your new boyfriend?”

Janet looked at Anastasia indifferently, as if watching a clown.

“Birds of a feather flock together. You and Nathaniel really understand each other easily. After all, flies like garbage.”

Janet’s words were always ironic.

Anastasia didn’t expect Janet to be so sharp-tongued. She glared at her and said angrily, “B*tch, what nonsense are you talking about! Who are you calling rubbish!”

Hearing Anastasia’s words, Orville’s face suddenly darkened, and he was just about to strike.

Janet stopped him.

Janet glanced at the ladies who were watching, and said coldly to Anastasia, “You are the rubbish I’m talking about! During my three-year marriage with Nathaniel, you sent countless messages to harass him, get involved in our marriage shamelessly. You were not only shameless but even proud of it, like a s**ker. If I were you, I would be ashamed to go out. How could you speak out?”

All the time, Janet disdained to have a confrontation with Anastasia, nor did she disdain to scramble for anything with Anastasia. After all, she felt that such behavior was only lowering her status.

However, since Anastasia took the initiative, she definitely couldn’t swallow her anger.

Sharp tongue?
