“Chloe?”
Chloe answered, “Yes?”

Chloe got up and walked over to the fridge. She took out a chilled can of grape juice. Although it was late winter, they still preferred drinking iced drinks.
She said, “I just feel that love is so intangible, and I focus more on my career. I’m not a hopeless romantic like you.”
“You don’t have to worry anymore. I am no longer a hopeless romantic,” Linda replied
They exchanged glances and laughed.

“Officer, I would like you to listen to these recordings before you start interrogating me according to the law.” Linda sat there calmly. She wasn’t feeling guilty because she had never done anything of the sort. “Officer, I do not feel that it is necessary for me to create a fake piece of evidence. I’m an upright person, and I mean what I say.”
