Linda and Samson were puzzled by Lexl’s description. She couldn’t explain clearly what she wanted either. 

The housekeeper, Ava Flores, came out with a tray of fruit. 

Linda asked, “Ava, do you know what present Lexi is talking about?” 

Ava pulled out her phone and showed a short video. “Lexi, is this what you were talking about?” 

Lexi nodded firmly. “Yes, yes! Daddy, Mommy, that’s exactly what I 

want!” 

The video showed a Pop–Up toy. When the buttons or knobs were pressed, a toy would pop up. 

“Lexi, can I give you a regular figurine toy instead?” Linda suggested. She found the idea tedious since she hadn’t come across such toys.

Samson also found the idea troublesome. “Lexi, let me tell you, the Pop–Up toy in the video doesn’t have as many toy figurines as the ones we’ll give you. It’ll take a lot of time for us to go around searching for that. Do you want us to go through all that trouble?” 

Lexi pondered. “But I really want it.” 

Samson had an idea. “Grandpa and Grandma are coming back tomorrow. You can ask them for it. They’ll surely find it for you.” 

Since the two of them didn’t have the time, Samson figured that his parents could handle it since they had plenty of free time. 

Lexi thought about it and realized it made sense. She then kissed. Samson on the cheek. “You’re smart, Daddy!” 

Linda smiled helplessly. She had seen kids giving their fathers a hard time but never their grandparents. 

Linda drove to the company early the next morning. The stylist and makeup artist were already waiting in the resting room. 

The roadshow wasn’t over yet, and she had to continue touring with the team. It was rewarding, although quite tiring. 

“Ms. Felix, how would you like your makeup today?” the makeup artist asked, standing behind Linda. 

Linda’s skin was flawless, with a natural glow that even photo editing struggled to match. There were no visible flaws, which made her a perfect canvas for any makeup look. 

“Just do whatever you think is best. Maybe just a light foundation and some powder?”
