Noelle stared at her family members in front of her. They had always used the same excuse about how Xenia's father, Sean, had once saved her life.

In her previous life, she had fully believed in the weight of those words, and as a result, never gained the care and concern of her older brothers even until her death.

She had always made compromises for Xenia, thinking that she owed Xenia favors for Sean saving her life. In the end, Noelle even gave up her own life. But in this new life, she discovered that Sean was never dead to begin with.

It also meant that he was related to the car accident. Otherwise, he had no reason to keep on hiding in the shadows.

Frank was surprised. "Noelle, what do you mean by that?"

Blake asked with confusion. "Donovan had been investigating the person who fled the scene of the car accident for all these years, but we've only managed to trace it back to the Merlock family. There hasn't been any progress recently. Noelle, do you happen to have any leads?"

Noelle clenched her phone tightly. She wanted nothing more than to throw all the evidence she had gathered in their faces.

But she decided to hold herself back. She knew that it was not the right place to talk about the matter.

More importantly, she could not alert the enemy just yet.

Noelle replied, "No, I don't. Anyway, I have something to attend to, so I'm leaving now."

With that, she turned around and walked out of the Liddell residence.

Xenia watched Noelle leave from the second floor's window. She felt uneasy as she thought about what Blake had just said.

She did not know that the Merlock family was involved in the car accident.

She had asked Donovan about the matter back then, but he never revealed anything to her. She began to wonder if Donovan had also suspected Sean.

A chill ran down Xenia's spine. She quickly returned to her room to inform Sean about what she had heard.

They needed to make preparations in advance, as they could not afford to be exposed no matter what.
