Noelle crossed the street absentmindedly, not noticing that the traffic light had changed colors. Vehicles began to move toward the pedestrian crossing.
Suddenly, someone pulled her back and snapped her out of her daze. "Noelle, watch out!"
She felt a chill running down her spine when she saw that the car had just sped past her.
Noelle looked up and saw a young man in front of her. She recognized him as a member of her esports team and quickly said, "Thank you."
"Noelle, are you okay? You don't look too well. Do you need me to take you to the hospital?" he asked.
"No, I'm fine," Noelle forced herself to smile, but her mind was in turmoil.
The team member walked her across the street and said, "Are you dealing with something, Noelle? I might be able to help if you tell me about it."
She lowered her gaze and replied, "There are no classes early in the morning today. Are you heading to the base for training?"
"Yeah, I am."
Noelle joined him and headed to the esports base as well. She saw that there were not many people training early in the morning.
She was still a little upset when she turned on her computer. She then turned to the team member and asked, "You're new to the team, right? Do you need me to guide you or anything?"
"Of course, Noelle! Please carry me!" he replied.
The handsome young man sat down beside Noelle and turned on the computer as well before logging into his game account.
When Noelle invited him to her party and saw his username, she was momentarily stunned. "Your username is 'ReverseTime,' too?"
"Yeah, is the name too cringey or anything? Many people have made fun of me for it before. By the way, Noelle, you said 'too' just now. Did someone else have this username, too?" he asked.
"Yeah, a friend of mine used the same username as well."
Noelle stared at the username and the game character. Both were identical to a certain someone she had met in her past life. She wondered if the new team member was actually him.
