No Remarriage for us Stay Away (Lenora and Zachary) novel Chapter 476

Chapter 476 They Have A Child
At that moment, Zachary even doubted if Harrietta knew what being pregnant meant.

Harrietta blinked, her face serious. “Aunt Lenora is pregnant!”

“How do you know?” Zachary bent over to meet Harrietta's gaze, his heart pounding in his chest. A sense of anticipation was surging from the depths of his soul, one that he dared not shatter.

“On the day Uncle Stanley got married, Aunt Lenora picked me up from kindergarten and told me about it. That night, you didn't come home. The next day, Aunt Lenora moved out without telling you.”

A surge of elation swept through Zachary's heart.

Nora is pregnant. We have a child. Our very own child!

The sudden arrival of the long-awaited good news caught him completely off guard, overwhelming him with immense excitement.

Zachary was about to turn around and knock on the door again when Harrietta stopped him. “Uncle Zachary, calm down. Aunt Lenora is not going to go back with you.”

Zachary halted in his tracks, turning around to look at her. “What did you say?”

“My grandmother and that weird lady won't allow you two to be together,” Harrietta elaborated. “If you take Aunt Lenora back with you now, they'll bully her, which isn't good for her pregnancy. If you want to be with her, you'll have to get rid of the other two.”

With the weird lady around, the rift between Uncle Zachary and Aunt Lenora will only deepen.

Upon hearing Harrietta's words, Zachary realized that his euphoria had momentarily clouded his judgement.

It isn't easy for Nora to get pregnant again, so it's crucial that she takes great care during her pregnancy. If she were to lose this child again, it would undoubtedly be a devastating blow to her.

Looking back, it seemed that Lenora's decision to stay there was indeed a wise decision.

He would swiftly sort everything out, then return to bring Lenora back.

Zachary gently patted Harrietta's head, bending down to pick her up. “Hattie, what you say is right. You're smart. Let's keep your aunt's pregnancy a secret, okay?”

“Mmm-hmm.”

“You just mentioned earlier that Isla asked you to call me this afternoon?”

“Right, she wanted me to invite you out for dinner.”

“If there's a next time, don't reject it,” Zachary said.

Harrietta's eyes were wide open in surprise. “Uncle Zachary, are you rally planning to use the seduction technique?”

“Don't spout nonsense.”

Isla was Matthew's niece, Thus, forcing her to return to her home country was no simple task.

Before this, he needed to reassure her.

As soon as he showed a slight change in attitude, Isla would feel that her efforts were starting to pay off. Consequently, she would focus all her attention on him and Harrietta, leaving Lenora alone.

However, for Lenora's safety, Zachary decided to hire two bodyguards to protect her while she was at work.

Sophia received an invitation from a female star's team to travel to Cutvine on a business trip. She was in charge of the star's makeup and styling.

Aside from shooting for fashion magazines, the star also had to perform at a brand's anniversary celebration party.

The anniversary celebration of the brand mostly comprised of the brand representatives taking the stage. They reflected on the past, presented the future outlook, introduced new products, and hosted activities. A few celebrities were also invited to perform in between the segments.

Before the party started, Sophia and her assistant had already arrived at the backstage makeup room with all their gear, waiting.

Several performers shared one dressing room. Two other makeup artists had also arrived early, setting up their makeup kits on the counter.

Being from the same circle, Sophia chatted with them while simultaneously tidying up her makeup box.

When the artist arrived, Sophia, following a makeup and styling routine she had already tested, began to work on the artist's look.

After she was done, the celebrity retreated backstage to await her turn to perform.

Sophia had successfully accomplished her task, and she discreetly slipped to the back of the hall with her assistant.

The back row wasn't crowded, with a few people scattered about in the seats.

Thus, the two of them settled down on a pair of vacant seats to watch.

The performance had begun.

Sophia was engrossed in what she was reading when she suddenly sensed someone taking a seat beside her. The subtle scent of agarwood teased her nostrils.

From the corner of her eye, she could see that it was a man. Dressed in a neat suit, he was tall and lean.

However, his face didn't come into his view.

She glanced casually at the person beside her, rolled her eyes, and then looked away.
