No Remarriage for us Stay Away (Lenora and Zachary) novel Chapter 477

Chapter 477 Those Who Are Not Skilled
Upon hearing this, Zephyr knew that Lenora had not kept her promise.

However, he was already prepared. After returning that day, he had someone pull up the surveillance footage and saved a clip of it on his phone.

Upon hearing Sophia's question, he immediately responded, “She's just a nobody. I've already rejected her.”

After watching the video, Sophia curled her lips. “Seems like you have quite a few admirers abroad.”

“But all I want is you. However, are you willing to accept me, Ms. Tortell?”

Zephyr casually sat sideways, one arm draped over the back of the chair. He leaned in, his upper body gradually closing the distance. The faint scent of agarwood accompanying his assertive masculine aura enveloped Sophia.

He adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses, his expression gentle. There was a faint smile playing on his lips, giving off the impression of a charming yet mischievous gentleman.

Sophia was momentarily lost in thought.

“Ms. Tortell?”

The handsome face before her loomed larger once again, a warm breath brushing against her skin. Sophia finally snapped back to reality, leaning back and patting her chest. “You startled me... Let's go, off to the food street.”

She rose to her feet and swiftly walked away.

Her hasty footsteps and frantic silhouette betrayed a sense of panic, as if she was being chased by a predator.

With a sly grin tugging at the corners of his lips, Zephyr rose to his feet and swiftly followed.

In the last row, a woman wearing a mask had her eyes fixated on the pair. As she saw them leave, she paused for moment, then silently rose and followed their departing figures.

With a few quick strides, Zephyr caught up with Sophia and said, “My car is on the second basement level. The elevator is over here.”

As he walked, he asked, “What were you laughing at just now?”

“Ah, what a shame. I thought you were cheated on,” Sophia replied with a sigh.

What a pity.

“I've only ever been with you, and if I were to be cheated on, you would be the culprit.”

Listening to Zephyr's words, which seemed to be spoken in jest, Sophia maintained her composure. “You seem to look forward to it? I can go to a bar right now and make it happen,” she retorted.

“Bars are full of easy people, unlike me, who only has eyes for you...”

Suddenly, Sophia remembered. It was during the summer vacation after the college entrance exam when she and Zephyr had stayed up till midnight together...

Back then, they were young and naive. It took them a long time to figure things out. At that moment, Sophia almost kicked Zephyr off the bed.

Wait a minute.

Her eyes sparkled, a faint blush gracing her ears as she cut him off. “I don't like those who aren't skilled.”

“So, you have learned how to judge one's skill now? Seems like you've already experienced some decent techniques, haven't you?”

“Right,” Sophia nodded. “Each one of them is older and more impressive than you are.”

Upon hearing this, Zephyr quickly grabbed Sophia's arm, pinning her against the wall. He leaned in closely, lowering his voice to a suggestive whisper. “They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. I've grown a lot and learned a lot. Would you like to see for yourself?”

The warm breath he exhaled entirely caressed her ear.

Grown up a lot...

The thought of an indescribable scene slowly brought a blush to Sophia's ears.

However, she remained defiant. “Didn't you say that I was the only one? Where did you learn all that? By practicing in front of a mirror?”

“Of course not.”

Sophia raised an eyebrow.

“I looked at your picture.”

“Ah, Zephyr! I swear I'm going to kill you!”

Sophia's face instantly turned red in anger. She pushed him away and landed two punches on his chest.

With a smile, Zephyr ran off into the distance, while Sophia playfully chased after him aggressively.

To a bystander, it seemed as if they were flirting and playfully chasing each other.

At the elevator entrance, Zephyr took a deep breath, and with a smile, he embraced Sophia, who had been pounding on his chest. “Alright, alright, in all fairness, you can do the same to my photo...”

“Shut up, you!”
