Isla began to recount her story.

That afternoon, she went to pick up Harrietta for lunch. Along the way, she asked Harrietta to call Zachary.

At first, Harrietta was reluctant, but eventually, she made the call.

Not only was Zachary slow to answer the phone, but his voice was far more hoarse than usual, which sounded a bit odd.

Isla's blood boiled, and her mind was buzzing, all sense of reason gone.

She had the detective infiltrate the hotel to find out Zachary's room number. Immediately after, she called the police, reporting that a prostitution transaction was taking place in a certain room of that hotel.

Following the room number given by Isla, they rushed in but discovered the scene inside wasn't what they had expected.

This wasn't just an ordinary hotel room but a small conference room.

Placards were set out in front of the conference table, and every attendee was decked out in business suits, their expressions serious.

The police sensed something was off. Only after a conversation did they learn the Jacaster Trade Association's e-commerce committee was in the middle of an internal meeting.

Even though it was a social organization, the attendees were distinguished individuals.
