Chapter 21
We were having our next tutoring meeting at the same small room at the back of the library.

The dim light glowed alive us, casting soft shadows across the wooden table between Caelum and me. My notebooks and his were scattered everywhere, highlighters uncapped, with pages filled with equation I barely understood before he explained them in that annoyingly patient voice of his.
Letting out a small quiet sigh, I shoved my books in my bag, my eyes drifting towards the newly added canvases that rested against the wall, covered with cloth, while two unfinished painting were left open with strokes of paint scattered across them.
My gaze drifted from them back to my bag. “So,” I start of casually, zipping it up, “what are you doing Saturday.”
Across from me, Caelum brow furrowed a bit, clearly caught of guard by my question. “Uh…Saturday?”
“Yeah, genius. Saturday. What are you doing, and were will your parent be?”
“Uh…” he adjusted his glasses, his eyes narrowing a bit, looking slightly in suspicion. “My parents are leaving that morningto visit a relative outside the city.”
“And…?” I raise a single brow up, urging him to continue.
“They won’t be back untill Sunday.”
I paused halfway through slinging my bag over my shoulder. “What about your brother?”
“He is staying over at a friend’s place,” he paused. “So..its just going to be me.”
My lips slowly curved up to the side at this. “Good.” The effect just a single word had on him was immediate.
Pink rushes up to his neck so fast that it was almost impressive, his ears turned red first, then his cheeks. And suddenly the poor boy looked like he was overheating inside his hoodie.
It truly was amazing how quick he turns like this whenever he was out from his element, and into mine.
Caelum frowned at me suspiciously, even while blushing like crazy. “Wh..why, why are you asking all this?”
“Because,” I leaned back against the table, I cross my arms, “I want the house to outselves.” My smile stretches even more. “It’s a perfect opportunity without us getting interrupted.”
And holy fuck, the blush got worst
I bite at the wall of my lips, trying not to laugh at this, while he on the other hand looked like he wanted the floor to open and swallow him whole.
Um…cute.
Picking up my bag. I turned toward the door, ready to call this a day, when his voice stopped me on my track.
“W..wait.” My head turned slightly as I glance over shoulder, watching him take a hard gulp. “Aren’t we…doing anything before then?”
There it was, the nervousness mixed with curiosity, and a very obvious desperation he was trying so hard to hide.
A smirk makes it way to my lips. “Aw, don’t tell me you’re missing me already.”
He scoffs instantly, but it came with a awkwardness and a bit defensive. “Don’t flatter yourself.”

Meanwhile his face was still pink as hell
My grin widened. “Did you do the assignment I gave you?” His entire body stiffened up at my question.

Taking a step closer, slowly. “Did you actually watch the video and touched yourself just like I told you to..” I tiked my head to the side, batting my eyes at him innocently, “or did you panic and chose to take a cold shower instead.?”
“I didn’t..” he mumbled out the rest too quietly
“What?” His gaze darted everywhere but mine.
“I said..” he clearly his throat roughly. “I wa..watched it.”
Raising a brow again. “And..?
His fingers tightened around the edge of his chair. “And I..did what you said.”
Oh
Oh, that made this way more fun
I take another step closer till I was standing, right in front of him, my top dipped low when I leaned forward, my boobs in display for him to feast on. And he did, judging from the way his eyes flickers downward for half a second too long before jerking away, blinking a few times as his throat bobbed.
Cute, again
“So..”I dragged on again as I murmured softly, “did you actually watch it, or are you lying to me because you’re embarassed?”
“1..i’m not lying.”
“Caelum.” My voice drops even softer this time. “I want you to look me in the eyes and say it again.”
His tongue comes out to wet his bottom lips nervously, andmy eye caught on the movement before I coumd stop myself.
Weird
For a second something shifted low in my stomach. And it fucking hell wasn’t attraction, just something, something I couldn’t really explain and didn’t want to ponder more about.
He still wouldn’t look at me, and I almost pulled back, figuring he was too shy for this. But then his eyes finally lifted, meeting mine.
And shit
I always knew his eyes were green, but I never noticed the gold hidden near the center of them. Or the tiny flecks around his pupils that almost looked amber beneath the dim lightning, and when he looked directly at someone, like really looked at them, just like he was doing now, his eyes tends to get intense in a way that didn’t fit the shy nerd act he always had going on.
Like freaking ass dangerously intense
“I did what you said,” he mutters out quietly. There was still a slight stutter there, but his voice carried more firmness this time.
Confidence
It caught me off guard for exactly a second or two, before I masked it off with a smirk, as I leaned closer untill our breaths

mixed. His scent wrapped around me instantly, cedarwood, coffee and paint.
Something warm and masculine underneath it
Fuck
Even with him dressing like an homeless person, how then did he manage to smell this good?

My eyes flickers downward briefly, watching as his hand gripped the side of the chair so tightly his knuckles had turned white. And I could tell he was trying his hardest not to lose his shit.
I smirked at this before patting the top of his head gently, which ones again caught the both of us off guard. But I was good at masking my own emotions while his was as transparent as a glass.
“Good boy,” his cheeks flushes red at the compliment, and the second I stepped back, he sucks in a deep breath like he had forgotten how to breath entire.
Not being about to stop the grin that makes it way to my face as I throw my bag over my shoulder.
“See you Saturday, Caelum.” He remained frozen in his chair. “Oh..” I added casually while glancing back at him, “you can keep watching the videos untill then, more experience won’t hurt you.”
His face somehow turned even redder, I smirked at this, walking out before he could recover.
The moment I stepped out of the school I was hit by the cool evening air in my face, my boots clicking against the pavement as I walked towards my car parked beneath the streetlights when my phone buzzed in my pocket.
Mom
Of fucking course
Where are you?
I stared down ar the message blankly before locking my phone again, choosing to ignore it, like always.
The tension that instantly twisted in my chest at the sight of her name made me curse under my breath.
Unlocking my car, I slide into the driver’s seat, grabbing my phone again, and before I could think too hard about it I send a
