Except for Yulisa.
Even though the Moore family was furious with Darian, Yulisa herself was still desperate for the match. And since some time had passed, the scandal had somewhat cooled off.
Eleanor sighed, giving a reluctant nod. "Fine. Since you're so confident, I'll leave the arrangements to you."
"Thank you."
Rowena let out a breath she didn't realize she'd been holding. As long as she had the elders' approval, she had plenty of ways to force Darian's hand.
...
Ever since Tanya had been brought back, Darian hadn't left her side for a single second. They had been separated for far too long.
After moving heaven and earth to find her, he wasn't about to let her out of his sight. He trusted no one else to guard her, terrified she would vanish into thin air the moment he blinked.
"You don't need to hover over me like that," Tanya snapped. "There's no one left to help me, and I can't escape anyway."
She just wanted him as far away from her as physically possible. Being trapped in his house made her skin crawl. She despised the very sight of him.
Darian winced at the sheer venom in her voice.
But he knew that with Starla out of the picture, Tanya truly had nowhere to run.
"I just want to be with you."
"Well, I don't want to be with you. I don't even want to look at you."
The rejection hit him like a physical blow.
Her absolute disgust broke whatever restraint he had left. He hauled her into his arms, his hand tangling in her hair to hold her steady, and crashed his mouth against hers.
Tanya thrashed wildly, fighting him with everything she had, but Darian refused to let go, his kiss growing more bruising and desperate.
"Let me go, you psycho!"
"Don't overthink it."
"Am I overthinking?" It was glaringly obvious.
Rowena had rushed over the second she heard Tanya was back, terrified Darian might rekindle their romance.
Darian didn't reply. He stepped out and shut the door behind him.
Left alone, Tanya curled into a tight ball, a wave of crushing helplessness washing over her.
She pulled out her phone and drafted a text to Starla: [Herbert is a bastard!]
She knew it. Herbert was the one who had sold her out. She had barely made it out of Smaro Town before Darian swooped in.
There was no way Darian found her that fast without Herbert tipping him off.
Starla hadn't replied to her previous message. Tanya quickly deleted the draft. Starla was staying off the grid for her own safety, and Tanya had to do the same.

"You're a failure as a husband and coward as a Man" This is what i want to say in Fairfax hahaha you dont deserved a wife if you cant protect her...
Hahaha This plot of story i hate about, choosing another girl instead of your own wife is something unreal, you didnt considered your wife feeling, you didnt even trust her and later on you will say sorry?? Was sorry will fixed everything you've done? Was sorry fixed her heart? it was unfair for your wife, you must choose your wife whatever it is. You know your wife well more than anyone else and the only person she should lean on was the person who pushes her away...
