The silence stretched, heavy and suffocating.
"You're pointing your anger at the wrong target," Starla whispered coldly. "Go kill Yardley."
Without another word, she turned and walked toward the entrance, leaving Susanna frozen in place.
Susanna's blood ran cold.
She couldn't believe what she had just heard. Starla actually told her to kill him! Her own flesh and blood!
She was incredibly selfish. Just to ensure her own peace, she was manipulating Susanna into directing her hatred at Yardley. It was terrifying. And absolutely sickening.
