Yardley gritted his teeth, his chest heaving. The veins on the back of his hands bulged as if he were fighting the urge to snap her neck. "Who else could it be?"
"Who else?" Starla laughed mockingly. "How about your actual enemies?"
Yardley went completely rigid. Elmer's expression darkened.
"Do I need to remind you what's been happening with the Clark family lately?" she demanded.
